Justin Rose Signs with Honma Golf - Endorsement Deal is for 10 Clubs

While most of the world was celebrating the arrival of 2019, Honma Golf was celebrating the arrival of their newest and biggest staff member - World No. 2 Justin Rose.

After weeks of speculation that the reigning FedExCup champion would join Honma, the endorsement deal became official as the calendar flipped to 2019.  Rose's deal with Honma will include playing 10 clubs, including driver, using a Honma bag, and having Honma on both sides of his cap.

Having Rose on board will undoubtedly increase the Hong Kong club maker's exposure in both North America and Europe, and across both American and European tours.  Current rumors have Honma still pursuing another non-Asian player based on the PGA Tour.  Honma's most notable endorsement deal prior to signing Rose was Hideto Tanihara (ranked 174th in the World).

Honma spokesmen revealed Rose would likely be playing the Tour World TW 747 driver, a prototype version of the Tour World TW 747 forged cavity back irons (4 - 6), prototype Justin Rose Tour World TW 747 forged muscleback irons (7 - 9), and prototype versions of the Tour World TW forged wedges (47, 56, and 60 degrees).

Rose had been experimenting with Honma equipment as early as July of 2018, and then again more extensively prior to the Tour Championship in September, and in the Bahamas before the Hero World Challenge.

Honma will be at the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando in a few weeks, and I'll be sure to take their new line of clubs for a test drive on Demo Day.
