Francesco Molinari Signs Equipment Deal with Callaway Golf - Will Play Full Bag of Callaway Clubs and Golf Ball

Reigning Champion Golfer of the Year Francesco Molinari has joined the Callaway Golf Tour Staff and will play Callaway woods, irons, wedges, an Odyssey Putter, a Chrome Soft Golf Ball, and use a Callaway Staff Bag beginning this week at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.

Molinari has used Callaway clubs this season, but this week at Bay Hill marks his official debut as a Callaway staffer.  The deal will have Molinari (the No. 10 ranked Player in the World) playing all 14 Callaway clubs in his bag.

Molinari said,
"I am joining Callaway because I'm so impressed by their equipment.  More than anything, I'm looking forward to playing the new Epic Flash Driver and the Chrome Soft X Golf Ball.  The ball speed gains that I'm getting from the driver are unbelievable.  And this golf ball is the best one that I've ever played.  The performance from tee-to-green, especially the feel and control, is exactly what I want."

Here's a look at what Molinari will have in his bag this week on the Champions Course at Bay  Hill & Lodge:

A native of Turin, Italy, Molinari is coming off a remarkable 2018 campaign, highlighted by his first major win at The Open Championship.  Molinari also won the BMW PGA Championship and the Quicken Loans National last year, and posted a perfect 5-0 record for the victorious European Team at the 2018 Ryder Cup.

Molinari is confident he'll play at an even higher level and enjoy many more great wins with Callaway equipment.  In addition to the faster ball speed he's experienced off the driver with Flash Face Technology, Molinari's performance on approach shots and around the greens has been spectacular with his new Callaway irons, wedges, and Chrome Soft X (Diamond proto) ball.

And Molinari's Toulon Madison Putter that features a new Stroke Lab Shaft has given him more consistency in the rhythm and tempo of his stroke.

Molinari doesn't believe he needs any time to dial in distances and feel, as he already put in extensive testing prior to making the switch.  Molinari said in the end, the choice to switch to Callaway was pretty easy.  He's excited to put all his new gear into competition this week at Arnie's Place, as The King was a massive inspiration to Molinari growing up.
