Mitsubishi Golf Shafts Continue Major Dominance: Winners of Six of the Last Seven Major Championships

Streaks are one of the biggest stories in all sports, and right now Mitsubishi Golf shafts are grabbing headlines in historic fashion.

With Shane Lowry's win at The Open Championship last week at Royal Portrush, Mitsubishi claimed its sixth win in the last seven majors.  And if there was a Hall of Fame for golf shafts, Mitsubishi would already be immortalized.

Lowry won the 148th Open Championship using a Mitsubishi Diamana D+ 70 x shaft in his driver, and cruised to a six-shot victory to claim the Claret Jug, his first major title.

Mitsubishi easily won the total driver shaft count at Royal Portrush with the next closest competitor 23 shafts behind.  And seven of the top-10 finishers in this year's Open played either Mitsubishi or Aldila in their drivers, including Lowry, Tommy Fleetwood, Brooks Koepka, Lee Westwood, Tyrell Hatton, Danny Willett, and Patrick Reed.  Even more incredible, is that Mitsubishi and Aldila have combined to win 11 of the last 12 major championships.

Anyway you want to look at it, Mitsubishi is on an impressive run, and together with Aldila, these shafts are absolutely dominating professional Tours right now.
