Bryson DeChambeau and LA Golf Shafts Make Equipment History

Bryson DeChambeau became the first player on the PGA Tour to play with all graphite shafts for every club in his bag last week at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open.

Using shafts he co-designed with LA Golf Shafts for every club in his bag, DeChambeau finished T-4 in Las Vegas.  DeChambeau first used LA Golf graphite shafts two weeks ago in his wedges at the Safeway Open.

LA Golf Shafts Chief Operating Officer Chris Nolan said,
"We are excited to have Bryson DeChambeau using all LA Golf Shafts graphite shafts in his bag,.  Our Chief Product Officer, John Oldenburg and Bryson have worked closely to develop shafts for his entire bag to help take his game to the next level."
DeChambeau is currently using 14 custom LA Golf Shafts graphite shafts in all of his clubs that were specifically designed for him.  LA Golf Shafts' Chief Product Officer, John Oldenburg, and DeChambeau worked closely to design each shaft optimizing the stiffness profile and decreasing torque to provide better launch and spin conditions, as well as give him much better control to hit any type of shot.

DeChambeau said,
"So far they are working really, really, really well.  It is pretty cool to see the consistent ball spin rates and the ability to control the ball flight in the air is on a different level."
LA Golf Shafts owned by LA Golf Partners designs, develops, and manufactures performance-driven and technologically advanced shafts in partnership with some of the top players in the game.  And will be launching new graphite shaft product lines based on the shafts developed with DeChambeau and others currently used by numerous top-ranked players on the PGA tour.
