Mitsubishi Golf Continues Winning Ways on PGA and European Tour

If you follow along with my weekly PGA Tour winner's WITB, you'll notice Mistubishi and Aldila shafts have been on a victory streak that pretty much is complete domination.  But there's even more to be impressed about this than meets the eye.

First, of course is that Mitsubishi and Aldila are winning so frequently and consistently.  It's almost freakish.  Second, these players are not endorsed by Mitsubishi or Aldila, they're choosing to play these shafts without any monetary incentive.  And finally, and maybe most significant, Mitsubishi and Aldila shafts actually play a significant role in the outcome of events.

Take for example this week's winner on the European Tour Steven Brown.  Brown won the Portugal Masters by one stroke last week and his driver was a big reason the Englishman picked up the victory.

Brown used a Mitsubishi RF 60 X shaft in his driver, and hit 64.2-percent of the fairways (almost 10-percent more than the field average), and only 12 players all week hit more.  Brown also averaged 313 yards off the tee, more than 10 yards longer than the field average.  So you can see, Brown wasn't merely playing a Mitsubishi shaft, he was succeeding because of it.

Mitsubishi also won the overall total driver count in Portugal, with Aldila shafts coming in second place.

And then of course there was Tiger Wood's historic performance at the Zozo Championship, tying Sam Snead for the most wins in PGA Tour history with 82.

If you were watching any to all of the tournament, you'd have seen Tiger driving the ball long, straight, and with as much confidence as he''s ever had from the tee.  Even the announcers were awed by Tiger's performance with his driver.

Woods used a Mitsubishi Diamana White D+ 60 in his driver, and also Diamana White D+ shafts in his fairway woods.

There's of course no perfect club or perfect shaft that is going to perform best for everyone.  But you can't argue with the spectacular results Mitsubishi and Aldila are achieving.
