Riding an incredible wave of momentum over the last three years, and have expanded their industry footprint with some absolutely fantastic clubs and cutting edge technologies, Cobra PUMA is looking to keep its foot on the gas and make 2019 perhaps one of the most significant in company history.
Cobra has placed their new drivers in my top-3 spots two years running now, and the kind of hype we're already seeing about their latest offerings - including the KING F9 family featuring SPEEDBACK technology, suggests this year is going to be absolutely gigantic for the company that stands behind Bryson DeChambeau, Rickie Fowler, and Lexi Thompson.
SPEEDBACK technology a revolutionary advancement that's allowed Cobra to achieve true optimization of aerodynamics and low CG for the first time in the metal woods category. The result is Cobra's longest and fastest driver and fairways ever.
The KING F9 irons and hybrids (in both variable and ONE Length configurations), also incorporate SPEEDBACK technology to deliver maximum power, stability and accuracy. I couldn't be more excited to check out their entire new line.
All of Cobra's 2019 offerings utilize COBRA CONNECT technology, which features electronically enabled grips working in conjunction with the Arccos Caddie app to give users the ability to track their stats and improve their game.
On the PUMA side, the brand will display its Autumn-Winter 2019 apparel and accessories collection for men, women and juniors, which is highlighted by innovative designs and fabrications including ALTERKNIT, EVOKNIT and FUSIONYARN Flex. PUMA will also highlight its NXT Generation of footwear (perfect for on and off course wear), and the celebrated, Tour-proven IGNITE PWRADAPT family of kicks.
At Demo Day on Tuesday, January 22nd, Cobra PUMA will host the COBRA PUMA GOLF Experience on the 8th tee, where everyone will be able to test for the first time the entire F9 SPEEDBACK family of clubs.
From Wednesday, January 23rd to Friday, January 25th Cobra PUMA will be set up at Booth No. 273, which is next to the indoor range if you didn't get enough at Demo Day. (I can almost assure you I'll be one of the attendees who spends entirely too much time hitting Cobra's new line).
There will also be a number of Cobra PUMA athletes and ambassadors in attendance, and that's always fun to get a personal moment with these players that we we watch on television every week.
So if you're keeping track at home - TaylorMade isn't coming to the PGA Show this year. Bridgestone Golf and Mizuno are returning after an extended absence. And Cobra is preparing for its biggest PGA Show presence ever. Yup (nodding), the wheels are turning and there's no going back.
Great post!
