Aerotech SteelFiber Shafts Continue Dominating on Professional Tours

SteelFiber graphite iron shafts landed first and second place finishes at the Cologuard Classic on the Champions Tour last week, as well as second and third place finishes at the HSBC Women’s World Championship on the LPGA Tour, continuing Aerotech's global dominance on professional tours this season. 

 

Marc O'Meara used SteelFiber i110 shafts in his irons at the Cologuard Classic and hit almost 75-percent of the greens in regulation for the week en route to a 17-under, 202 for the tournament.  The two-time major champion recorded eight birdies in the final round, good for a four-shot victory. 

Runner-up Scott McCarron relied on SteelFiber i95 shafts in his irons, and hit more than 72-percent of the greens in regulation in the final round.  McCarron finished four shots back of O'Meara, and carded seven birdies in the final round for a 4-under, 69. 

 

Meanwhile at the HSBC Women’s World Championship on the LPGA Tour, Minjee Lee claimed solo second place using SteelFiber i80 shafts and hit almost 82-percent of the greens in regulation.  SteelFiber shafts also picked up T-3, T-8, and 10th place finishes for a total of four top-10s at the event.
