I have to be honest with you guys. As much as you love my annual PGAPappas 12 Days of Christmas Golf Giveaway, I think I might love it even more. Getting everything ready for you and planning it all so it's wildly fun and exciting for everyone puts me on a 12 day adrenaline rush that pretty much leaves me running on fumes by end of year.
Everything we're giving away this year you've heard me talk about and review as tops for 2020 (and even into 2021), and includes gear and equipment from Adidas, Aldila, Bridgestone, Callaway, Cleveland, Cobra, CRU, Cuater, Duca del Cosma, FootJoy, Galvin Green, Golf Pride, Mitsubishi, Mizuno, Titleist, Tour Edge, Travis Mathew, Wilson, and more.
It's been a rough year around the world for many, and in a sense that made it even more important for me to continue bringing you all kinds of golf content and reviews at an even greater pace and with even more passion.
You guys know I love what I do, and always try to bring you everything golf with a genuine appreciation and excitement for all. Every year I get to know more of you, have more conversations about all things golf and even life with many of you. And I just want to say thank you. I genuinely love all the conversations and direct messages and emails and interactions we have and share. And make no mistake about it, that's why I do what I do. It's all because of you guys. I value your trust completely, and will always strive to give it to you straight and give you my absolute best.
So quickly just to recap the year with some highlights like we always do, the year started off with the PGA Merchandise Show, and a few rounds at Bay Hill and Lake Nona (my first times at both venues). And when I returned home, new equipment reviews started flowing fast and furious.
When Covid took hold, we tried to keep spirits up with some fun Stimulus Package giveaways and your humor and optimism enjoying them all truly moved me. I continued getting on the course as often as possible to review new gear and show you new venues, and the more you enjoyed it, the more I felt compelled to keep going even stronger.
Play With Pete Invitational had two events this year and incredible sponsors. The first at historic Inverness Club in Toledo, and then earlier this month for an All Star format at The Ocean Course at Kiawah. And we have at least five Play With Pete Invitationals lined up for next year all around the country.
In September I was credentialed to cover the U.S. Open in the same week that I got married. Somehow it all worked out perfectly in every way imaginable.
And like that the year sped by and it's time again for my 12 Days of Christmas Golf Giveaway. Like it has been every year, this giveaway is open to everyone worldwide. Beginning December 12th, each evening at 7:45 we'll have a new giveaway. And this will run for 12 straight days.
This year however, we're gonna get even crazier.
We're also going to have Letters from Santa gifts and Surprise Bonus gifts throughout these 12 days that can drop anytime. Although I'll tell you now, at least some of these will start at about 12:45 pm each day. So strap in because there's a lot going on this year, literally all around the clock.
You can enter my Christmas giveaway three unique and different ways, and at least one winner will come from each of these entries to spread around the holiday cheer.
On twitter, when you see my Giveaway or Letters from Santa tweet, be sure you're following me and the company who made the gear/equipment I'm giving away, and just retweet the announcement.
On Instagram, when you see my Giveaway or Letters from Santa post, be sure you're following me and the company who made the gear/equipment I'm giving away, and then just like the post, Mention in Your Story, or Repost.
And finally here on my blog, you can enter by leaving a comment in the particular days Giveaway or Letters from Santa and you're good to go. You'll get some details and specifics about what made them and what makes them the best around in my opinion... and Santa's.
I'm not going to tell you the specifics on the gifts you'll win just yet (you'll have to wait for the actual day to see what that days gifts are). But you know the companies I already mentioned, and will tell you we'll have clubs, balls, shoes, clothes, grips, shafts, bags, and pretty much everything any golfer is going to ever need!
You guys are already beyond pumped for this one as I've seen in your awesome comments, gifs, replies, everything. I absolutely love that, keep it up! We officially kick off 12 Days tomorrow night and #ReleaseTheKringle!
Wishing each and every one of you a wonderful holiday season, joyous Christmas, and the absolute best in the New Year.
Cheers all,
Pete

By spreading the balls out in a star pattern, you get the most common putts you'll face on the course. Pick out a target line. Visualize the ball going in before putting. Then putt the ball. Do it just the way golf lessons recommend. Also, try lagging a few long putts, just to get the feel for it. golf ball cannon
