NBC Sports presents a record nearly 450 hours of live professional women’s golf coverage in 2023 featuring coverage of all 35 LPGA Tour events, headlined by live coverage of five major championships, the Solheim Cup and the Hanwha LIFEPLUS International Crown, across NBC, GOLF Channel, USA Network, Peacock, and NBC Sports digital platforms.
The 2023 LPGA Tour season begins this week with the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions on NBC, GOLF Channel and Peacock on Jan. 19-22.
The NBC broadcast network will air a record 41 hours of live coverage this year, highlighted by more than 30 hours of coverage of four women’s majors. The U.S. Women’s Open presented by ProMedica at Pebble Beach Golf Links, marking the inaugural playing of women’s professional golf contested at the course, will be presented live in primetime — the first time that NBC will air women’s major championship golf in primetime.
All coverage airing on NBC and GOLF Channel will stream live on Peacock and NBC Sports digital platforms.
Highlights of NBC Sports’ 2023 women’s golf coverage include:
Live coverage of all five major championships, including four with coverage on NBC: The Chevron Championship, being held at The Club at Carlton Woods in The Woodlands, Texas, for the first time (April 20-23); the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship at Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield, N.J. (June 22-25); the U.S. Women’s Open presented by ProMedica featuring women’s professional golf at Pebble Beach Golf Links in Calif., for the first time (July 6-9); the Amundi Evian Championship at Evian Resort Golf Club in Evian-les-Bains, France (July 27-30); and the AIG Women’s Open at Walton Heath in Surrey, England (Aug. 10-13);
The return of the Hanwha LIFEPLUS International Crown, a team match-play competition that showcases the best female golfers from the top eight countries across the globe on May 4-7, on GOLF Channel. The competition will be the first elite women’s competition to be held at TPC Harding Park in San Francisco, Calif.;
Nearly 30 hours of live coverage of the 2023 Solheim Cup between the United States and Team Europe at Finca Cortesin in Andalucia, Spain, on Sept. 22-24, on GOLF Channel;
USA Network presenting live major championship coverage of the U.S. Women’s Open at Pebble Beach and the AIG Women’s Open at Walton Heath for a second consecutive year;
The LPGA Tour season culminating at the CME Group Tour Championship at Tiburon Golf Club in Naples, Fla., on Nov. 16-19, on NBC and GOLF Channel with the winner receiving $2 million, the largest single prize in the history of women’s golf;
