The CRU Golf Legacy Carry Bag

Okay, really where should I even begin with this bag?  There's truly so, so much to love about the Legacy.

Subtle nuances in design along with unrivaled premium leather and workmanship arguably make CRU Legacy the crème de la crème in its class.  And yes I'm talking even better than a Jones or MacKenzie leather carry bag.

First lets talk about the leather.  It's supple.  It's rich.  Quite frankly it's downright exemplar.  So soft you could swaddle a baby in it.  But also incredibly durable making it cart-friendly as well.

High-stress, load bearing areas of the Legacy are double-riveted for utmost support.  While the rim around the bottom dish (or base) consists of almost three inches of double-reinforced leather.  CRU simply doesn't take any shortcuts.

The top structure of the Legacy has two dividers and three compartments, comfortably holding a full set of clubs.  A front ball pocket, valuables pocket with waterproof zipper, beverage compartment, and full length jacket pocket lined with luxurious micro-suede allows you to carry the bare essentials or pack like a mule.  It's up to you.

And oh by the way if you're wondering about the weight with all this stuff?  The CRU Legacy weighs in at under 7 pounds, that's just a few more than most regular carry and stand bags on the market. 

The shape of the bag is classic, and you can actually change it from an old school floppy look, to one that's more reinforced thanks to an internal sheath that allows you to position or remove support along the spine.  Two different appearances, one golf bag.  That's CRU ingenuity and commitment to the golfer in a nutshell.

I'm really not sure how much more you could want from a leather carry bag.  The CRU Legacy is absolute and luxurious quality.  It's clean and imposing looks with an old-school design and modern enrichment. 

Before we move on I want to mention one more detail about the Legacy, and really about the CRU Golf team in general, how earnest their commitment is to you.  I learned that CRU calls every Legacy bag buyer and takes the time to explain and point out all the design features so customers can fully appreciate and benefit from the many luxuries this bag offers.  That kind of customer service is no accident.  It's the DNA of who CRU is and what they represent.  And I vigorously applaud them for that.

The CRU Golf Legacy Headcovers 

I don't exaggerate when I tell you CRU's Legacy headcovers raise their already high bar for quality and luxury performance in a leather headcover.

 

 

They're buttery soft to touch, and inside the micro-suede is completely sumptuous.  Add in clean piping along the sides and top, and impeccable stitching throughout and it's easy to see why these Legacy headcovers are truly fit for a king or queen.  These are designed to be enjoyed for a lifetime.
