Fujikura, the leader in performance golf shafts, was honored to be the #1 driver and wood shaft on the PGA Tour. Including a victory for VENTUS at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, it was another successful week across all global Tours for Fujikura, with multiple victories on the DP World Tour and LPGA Tour.
At the Arnold Palmer Invitational on the PGA Tour, Fujikura dominated the field as the #1 driver and wood shaft. In total, 43.5% of the field used a Fujikura driver shaft during the week, with another 38.7% in the wood shaft category.
Securing his second victory at Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club & Lodge, the winner in Florida used the VENTUS Black 7-X in his driver and VENTUS Black 8-X in his fairway wood.
Also on the PGA Tour, it was another #1 driver and wood shaft spot for Fujikura at the Puerto Rico Open. In total, 38.1% of the field used a Fujikura driver shaft, with another 32.6% of the field using a Fujikura wood shaft. This included the winner at Grand Reserve Golf Club, who used the VENTUS Red 6-X in his driver, VENTUS Black 7-X in his 4-wood and VENTUS Black 8-X in his 7-wood.
Recently introduced to the Tour only a few weeks ago, last week on the PGA Tour saw the introduction of the 2024 VENTUS into bags of three Tour players already, each one trusting in the performance of the new VeloCore+ technology.
Further success continued on the international stage for Fujikura, with victories for Fujikura and VENTUS on both the DP World Tour and LPGA Tour. On the DP World Tour, it was another VENTUS victory at the Jonsson Workwear Open, with the winner in South Africa choosing a VENTUS TR Red 6-X in his driver.
While over in China on the LPGA Tour, VENTUS claimed another win at the Blue Bay LPGA tournament. The winner at the Jian Lake Blue Bay Golf Course used the VENTUS Blue 6-S in her driver for her maiden victory on the LPGA Tour.
