In 2016, Guerin Rife, Evnroll’s CEO and Chief Designer, reimagined putter face technology to deliver consistent performance across the entire hitting surface. That breakthrough became SweetFace™ Technology — and changed the way golfers think about roll.

Now, with the launch of SweetFace 2.0, Evnroll once again redefines what’s possible in putter design. Featuring a new parabolic wave-pattern groove geometry, SweetFace 2.0 produces a response off the putter face that’s softer, faster, straighter, and sweeter than ever before.

“When I invented grooves on putters 30 years ago my goal was to produce an immediate, more consistent roll off the face.  As a by-product, the reduced contact surface produced a softer feel.  10 years ago, I introduced SweetFace technology to even-out ball speeds across the face for more consistent distance.  Hence the name “Evnroll”.  SweetFace 2.0 is the next evolution in roll.  By compressing the grooves and making them shallower, I believe we have found the magic sauce…Softer, Faster, Straighter. Three Dimensions of Performance

Softer – Reduced surface contact from the refined groove structure, combined with a thicker face, delivers an exceptionally soft yet solid feel.

Faster – Groove depth has been reduced by 50%, limiting dwell time and increasing the impact ratio (putter smash factor) to achieve the Tour-preferred speed off the face.

Straighter – Parabolic shaping with wider center channels and narrower heel/toe channels promotes inward direction and minimizes dispersion — ensuring the ball stays on its intended line. The new wave pattern also neutralizes “dimple effect,” promoting truer roll consistency.
