Firefly Announces Director of Golf

Firefly, a new 700-acre luxury golf community located 30 minutes south of Nashville developed by Storied Development in partnership with Wheelock Street Capital, announces Aaron Levinson as Director of Golf. Beginning in April, Levinson will lead preparations for the launch of both the 18-hole and 9-hole courses later this year, while overseeing all daily golf operations, including team leadership, strategic planning, event programming, and ensuring member satisfaction.

Levinson, a graduate of Clemson University, brings over a decade of experience managing leading golf programs across the country, with his most recent role as a PGA Head Golf Professional at Congressional Country Club. His professional career includes climbing the ranks at distinguished clubs in the Southeast including Shoal Creek in Alabama, The Honors Course in Chattanooga, and Sea Island Golf Club in St. Simons Island, Georgia.

“As Firefly progresses, our team is committed to building a roster of professionals who share our goal of cultivating excellent member experiences, and the appointment of Aaron is an integral part of that process,” said Mark Enderle, Partner, Storied Development. “Aaron distinguished himself from other candidates through his clear commitment to establishing Firefly as one of the premier golf clubs in the US and creating a legacy for future generations.”

Firefly’s 18-hole championship course designed by acclaimed golf course architect Andrew Green is slated to open for member play in fall 2026. Best known for his masterful restorations of East Lake, Oak Hill, Scioto, and Interlachen, Firefly marks Green’s first original golf course design.

Firefly will also feature a nine-hole short course, opening late this summer, and an array of luxury amenities, including a clubhouse, fitness center, family club, separate adult and family pools, a bowling alley, golf simulators, and a racquet club with tennis and indoor pickleball courts. The Golf Shop and food and beverage venues at the courses' Fieldhouse and Outpost are anticipated for completion in early 2027.

"Firefly will be defined by its culture and elevated member environment, and with his experience at top leading clubs, Aaron will bring hands‑on leadership, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence that members will see every day,” said Todd Huizinga, General Manager, Firefly.

Homesites range from $575,000 to over $1,675,000. Construction of homes at Firefly should start in 2027, and the community will have around 400 homes once complete. For more information and to learn more about the community's offerings, please visit www.fireflyliving.com.
