Mitsubishi Golf Shafts Win 2019 BMW PGA Championship

Danny Willett won the 2019 BMW PGA Championship last week at the Wentworth Club in the UK using a Mitsubishi Chemical Diamana DF 60X in his driver.

Willett averaged more than 297 yards off the tee en route to a three-shot over runner-up Jon Rahm.  The BMW victory was Willett's seventh European Tour title, and apart from major championships is considered one of the biggest events on the European Tour.

Runner-up Jon Rahm used an Aldila shaft and averaged more than 309-yards off the tee, while Christian Bezuidenhout finished third using Mitsubishi Diamana DF, and Patrick Reed finished T-4 using an Aldila.

Mitsubishi won the driver shaft count with Aldila coming in second.  And together Mitsubishi and Aldila combined for 58-percent of the shafts in in play at the BMW.
