1st Annual PGAPappas 12 Days of Christmas Golf Giveaway

This post will be a little different than my other posts.  Of course it's about my 1st Annual PGAPappas 12 Days of Christmas Golf Giveaway.

But it's also about thanks.

Golf has given me much to be thankful for.  I earn my living as a golf writer, and absolutely love what I do.  I meet wonderful people every day.  I learn something new every day.  And have become good friends with many of you.

And I've learned along the way that sharing things you're passionate about with people you care for is really what it's all about.

So this giveaway is just my small way of saying to everyone... thank you.

For 12 consecutive days I'm giving away something from the prizes listed below. To win, make sure you're following me, and just retweet my giveaway tweet for that day.

Each day I'll have a new prize, and each day I'll announce one new winner. The giveaway is open to everyone worldwide.

And now on to the prizes.  They're all from companies I know you love.  And I'll have more giveaways from other companies in the future.  But these particular brands stood out for me in 2014.

In no specific order, I'll start with Wilson Staff.  This is a company that just gets it.  Great equipment, great customer service, and honestly, I'd put their irons up against any irons on the market.

I've played different Wilson irons for the past two years, and I can only wonder why it took me so long to try them.

So I have five boxes of Wilson Staff DUO golf balls up for grabs for five people.  And I'm convinced the DUO is one of the best balls on the market for a majority of players.

They also happen to be Wilson's 100th Anniversary Limited Edition DUO balls, with each ball individually wrapped in gold foil like Godiva chocolates.

Class act by Wilson, but definitely not surprising at all.

Next up I have a Callaway Golf Tour Authentic bag towel, and Callaway Tour Authentic cap, with magnetic ball marker, and Callaway logo tees for two winners.

I've had at least one Callaway Golf club in my bag every year since I've been golfing.  They just never fail to impress.

Callaway always has something I want, and something that's going in my bag. And what can you say about the Callaway Zoo Crew?  Truly, as good as it gets.

I also have a Nike Golf Tour cap for you as well.  Now this one's a bit interesting because I actually avoided Nike for a spell.  But not because I didn't like Nike.

One of my best friends, and arch-rival in golf happens to be a Nike fanatic.  And I refused to play Nike simply because he played Nike.  I know, not sensible at all, but when you're talking rivalries, sensibility goes out the door.

Suffice to say, after I tried Nike's Lunar Control shoes a few years ago and fell in love with them, that opened the floodgates to all things Nike goodness.

And as they say, better late to the party than never at all.  2015 is going to be huge for Nike Golf.

Every golfer should have something Ben Hogan, so I have a Ben Hogan Golf cap for you.  And what's most exciting about this, is that in 2015 Ben Hogan Golf returns to make irons for the first time in almost a decade.

Reviving the company won't be easy. But if anyone can do it, it's Terry Koehler. Koehler's a walking Hogan encyclopedia.  And for golfers everywhere, Hogan irons remain some of the best forged irons ever made.

My Piretti Fine Putters magnetic ball marker giveaway generated a lot of buzz, so I'm bringing it back for one more lucky winner.

And maybe more than any other club I hit this season, the Piretti Bosa putter impressed the hell out of me.  I'll have a review on that for you soon.

We all need tees.  And Tef Tees are some of my favorite.  They're coated in teflon to reduce friction between the ball and the tee for more distance.

I started using them last year and really haven't looked back.  Usually available in packages of 20, I'm giving you 50.

And finally, Tiger won it last year.  Rory won it this year.  You loved my WGC-Bridgestone cap giveaway, so I've got one more cap for another winner.

I picked up a bunch of these for you while I was covering the tournament, and kept one for myself.  But after seeing how much you liked them, I knew I'd have to give my last one away too.

Next season is already on my mind, and even bigger giveaways are already in the works.  You'll also get more previews, reviews, and Tour coverage from me than ever before.  And I can't tell you how excited I am about that.  I'm pretty sure you will be too.

Good luck to all who enter for the next 12 days.  And to you and your loved ones, a very Merry Christmas, and Happy Holidays.
