PGAPappas Callaway Masters Arnold Palmer Bag Giveaway

Why do we love The Masters?  Is it because Augusta National is the Sistine Chapel of golf courses?  Is it because the second-9 on Sunday is the most insane thrill-ride in golf?  Is it because of the historic performances, caliber of past champions, the pimento cheese sandwiches?

Whatever your reasons, I want to know why you love The Masters

And if you tell me your reasons, you just might win a limited edition, Callaway Golf Arnold Palmer Masters mini-Staff bag.

To win, watch for my Masters Giveaway tweet, and then just retweet it and reply with the reasons why you love The Masters and you're automatically entered.

The Callaway Golf Arnold Palmer Masters bag celebrates Palmer's 50 golden years at The Masters, and is a limited edition bag, with only 5,000 made.

Palmer won The Masters an incredible four times in seven years.  And his 50 consecutive Masters appearances is a record that will probably stand forever.

You can enter as many times as you like between April 6th and April 12th.  And I'll announce the winner on Monday evening, the 13th.  The giveaway is open to everyone WORLDWIDE.

If you need help deciding why you love The Masters, check out my articles on the Best and Worst Shots in Masters History for every hole at Augusta National: A Hole-by-Hole Look at the Front-9, and a Hole-by-Hole Look at the Second-9

And yes, it's okay if you don't agree with me.  I just want everyone to have fun with this one.  Good luck to all who enter!

  1. The masters was for so much of my youth, the beginning of the season because of watching with my dad. He was Air Force when i was born and still in when I enlisted myself. If he was not flying somewhere in the world, we watched. Trevino was his man and when he boycotted, we always speculated how he would have done. Even Trevinio said that it was the biggest mistake of his career. The Masters is golf Mecca, especially for those of us who have never had the chance to walk those fairways. It is the tournament that is only for winners, not runner ups or ties, winners. The best of the best have played there and only the best of the best. I still dream of walking it someday, someday...The Masters is....spiritual.

  2. Every year since I can rememeber, my dad and I would sit down and watch the masters starting with the par 3 challenge, right till the green jacket presentation. After every Masters tournament we would discuss what it would be like to attend the masters and watch all of our favorite golfers play such as Tiger Woods and Fred Couples. Someday we hope to attend the masters. It is my dream to see Augusta in person.

  3. I was able to take my dad Tuesday. Both our first time there. It was an amazing experince. It meant more since my dad is the one who introduced me to golf. He loves watching the Masters. To see how happy and overcome with emotion when we walked the course was something I will always rememeber. The Masters is about time with dad for me. We try and play a around in green around the Masters every year.
