Last night PXG, the golf equipment and apparel company founded by entrepreneur and golf nut Bob Parsons, celebrated the grand opening of its 16th U.S. retail store located in Colorado’s famed Mile High City. Athletes, celebrities, dignitaries, notables, and clients joined President and Executive Creative Director of PXG Apparel Renee Parsons for the celebratory evening underneath the Colorado stars.
With plans to have 21 stores opened by the end of 2022, the evening’s celebration commemorated another significant stride forward in PXG’s rapid retail expansion plan. PXG Denver, located at 9030 E Phillips, Centennial, CO, 80112, is less than 30 minutes from downtown Denver and will serve clientele across the greater metro area and Colorado Springs. An ideal location for PXG, Denver is one of the fastest-growing cities in the U.S. and ranks as one of the top 20 golf markets in the nation by the number of golfers.
Invited guests walked a turf carpet backed by a custom snowy PXG Rocky Mountain step-and-repeat to mark the occasion. Adding a touch of the extreme to the event, the PXG Polar Porsche, recently driven in Antarctica, was on display for partygoers. Upon entering the event, attendees enjoyed hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, and a fashion presentation featuring the upcoming PXG Apparel Fall/Winter 2022 Collection. Models adorned in the latest looks walked the room and guests gained early access to an exclusive VIP pre-shopping experience ahead of the official collection launch on September 1, 2022.
Renee Parsons delivered opening remarks, followed by an inspired rendition of the National Anthem performed by Calvin Bishop. Mrs. Parsons made it official by cutting a ceremonial ribbon alongside Centennial Mayor Stephanie Piko.
Many noteworthy guests made an evening of it, including Colton Underwood, Melvin Gordon, Justin Simmons, Patrick Surtain II, Sam Martin, Brett Rypien, Josey Jewell, Redmond Gerard, Coach George Karl, Logan O’Connor, Karin Hart, Bri Knopf, Dawn Tan, Elizabeth Martin, Megan McGeehan, and Devan Blake Jones.
PXG Denver’s 7,200 square-foot facility features an expansive retail floor showcasing PXG’s latest apparel, accessories, and bag offerings. State-of-the-art fitting bays powered by TrackMan, a dedicated putter fitting studio, and a practice putting green support personalized golf club fittings. While a relaxing lounge area tops off the in-store experience, offering customers the opportunity to unwind after a fitting or watch the latest golf tournament.
