At the Players Championship on the PGA Tour, Fujikura dominated the field as the #1 driver, wood and hybrid shaft. In total, 40.7% of the field used a Fujikura driver shaft during the week, with another 36.9% using a Fujikura wood shaft and 27.8% using a Fujikura hybrid shaft.
Defending his Players Championship title with an impressive final round 64 (-8), the winner in Ponte Vedra used the VENTUS Black 7-X in his driver and VENTUS Black 8-X in his fairway wood on his way to victory.
Completing back-to-back PGA Tour victories in Florida, the world number one continued with further outstanding driving statistics at TPC Sawgrass last week. In total, the Players Champion gained over six strokes on the field off the tee, hitting an amazing 80% of fairways throughout the tournament.
After just 12 events of the 2024 PGA Tour season, this was the seventh win of the year for a player using a Fujikura driver shaft.
