J.J. Spaun Delivers Clutch Performance to Capture Valero Texas Open

J.J. Spaun delivered a commanding performance Sunday in San Antonio, securing victory at the Valero Texas Open with a tournament-winning total of 17-under par. This is Spaun's second time winning the Valero Texas Open, he previously won the tournament in 2022.

Spaun entered the final round in contention and closed with a composed 67, highlighted by a back-nine surge that separated him from a tightly packed leaderboard. The victory marks another milestone moment in Spaun’s career, reinforcing his position as one of the game’s most resilient competitor.

L.A.B. Golf Celebrates J.J. Spaun’s Valero Texas Open Victory

L.A.B. Golf congratulates J.J. Spaun for his victory at the 2026 Valero Texas Open. Spaun’s clutch 9-foot eagle putt on seventeen was the key to his final round 67, which provided the difference in his one-shot victory on a cold and windy day in San Antonio, Texas.

Spaun used a 34-inch charcoal DF3 with a 70-degree lie angle, 2 degrees of shaft lean, and a L.A.B. x TPT Golf graphite shaft. Spaun has now recorded 29 top-10 finishes on Tour and continues to build a reputation as a consistent presence in the game’s biggest events.
