Mitsubishi Golf Shafts Win PGA Tour Opposite Field Events at WGC-Workday Championship and Puerto Rico Open

Collin Morikawa won the WGC Workday Championship Sunday, using a Mitsubishi Diamana White D+ 60 in his driver and Mitsubishi Diamana D+ 80 in his fairway woods.  And Branden Grace won the opposite field event in Puerto Rico using a Mitsubishi Diamana TB 60 shaft in his driver.

Morikawa put on an absolute clinic from the tee, hitting 92.9-percent of the fairways on Sunday at The Concession course.  Not to be outdone, Grace also hit 92.9-percent of the fairways on Sunday at the Puerto Rico Open.

Evnroll Announces New V Series Putters

Keith Mitchell Signs 3-Year Extension with Mizuno Golf

Mizuno has announced the re-signing of Keith Mitchell. The rising PGA Tour star, the first player to win on the PGA Tour using a Mizuno ST Series driver, has committed his future to Mizuno, agreeing a new three-year equipment deal that will see him play the brand’s metalwoods, irons and wedges as well as carry the iconic blue and white Mizuno staff bag and feature Mizuno branding on the side of his headwear until 2024.

Keith Mitchell has been part of Team Mizuno since his rookie season on the PGA Tour in 2018 and has won over $5 million in prize money in that time. The long-hitting 29-year-old, a University of Georgia graduate, claimed his first PGA Tour victory at the 2019 Honda Classic.

USGA Launches Deacon: An Innovative Green Section Solution to Help Courses Deliver a Better Golfer Experience

The United States Golf Association (USGA) has reached a key milestone in its efforts to support the long-term health of golf courses with the launch of Deacon, an innovative golf course management tool created to help operators improve the golfer experience by delivering better playing conditions while optimizing and prioritizing critical resource consumption.

Developed by the USGA’s Green Section and backed by its 100 years of hands-on industry experience, Deacon was designed to address two universal problems faced by golf courses: a gradual decline in participation due to a lack of satisfaction and rising maintenance costs. The digital tool is accessible online and available in both iOS and Android app stores.

Titleist Reveals New TSi2 and TSi3 Hybrids

USGA Names Mike Whan as CEO

The USGA announced today that Mike Whan will join the organization this summer as CEO, and will become the eighth top executive in USGA history.

Last month, Whan announced his intention to step down as LPGA Commissioner in 2021, after his organization completes a search for the next Commissioner. His transition follows an impressive 11 years at the helm of the LPGA, during which the organization experienced historic growth in virtually every aspect of the business.

Bridgestone Golf to Increase Ball Manufacturing by 30% to Meet Demand for Tour B and New e12 Contact

Bridgestone Golf, the #1 Ball-Fitter in Golf, announced today the company’s manufacturing facility in Covington, GA, has increased production capacity by 30% to help satisfy the strong consumer demand for TOUR B golf balls as well as the new e12 CONTACT.
