Letters from Santa GIVEAWAY 1 (PGAPappas 12 Days of Christmas Golf Giveaway): Cleveland Golf RTX ZipCore Wedge

I told you guys this year's PGAPappas 12 Days of Christmas Golf Giveaway was going to be wilder than ever.  And here's one of the big reasons why.  The Man in Red himself, Santa Claus is helping me out and recommending gifts to give you this year.

Santa and I have known each other a long time now, and he really digs the 12 Days.  This crazy idea all started last year when I was hanging out with SC at his house on Pebble Beach.  After my round there he asked me, "Pete, what do you think about making your 12 Days of Christmas Golf Giveaway even bigger?"  He's Santa, so of course I listened.

Santa told me he'd write me through the season, and give me some suggestions on what to include and what he fancied himself for various reasons.

I told Nick I liked the idea, but it sounded like a tall order.  12 Days was already pretty non-stop, frenzied for me for these 12 straight days.  And I remember saying, "Nick, this isn't just about giving away gifts, it's about the experience and enjoyment of the entire 12 Days Giveaway."

Santa knows this better than anyone of course, and so when he replied, "How about Letters from Santa," explaining in more detail what it could be, and giving me carte blanche to show you his letters, it was all perfect.  I bought in immediately.  Santa Claus himself was going to help me with my 12 Days!

So below you'll find Santa's letter to me for the first Letters from Santa Giveaway in my PGAPappas 12 Days.  The gift will be a Cleveland Golf RTX ZipCore wedge, and I'll let you read all about why Santa pretty much insisted this be included.

Just like with the daily gifts in my PGAPappas 12 Days of Christmas Golf Giveaway, you'll have three unique ways to win the Letters from Santa giftsOn twitter just retweet my giveaway announcement and follow all; on Instagram like the post or Repost, and follow all; and here on my blog leave a comment in the section below in the daily review/giveaway/Letters from Santa articles.

These gifts are great prizes of course, but also some of the best equipment and gear in their class that I played and reviewed this season.  And I hope these mini reviews and recaps give you an idea of why I rate them so highly.

Merry Christmas all, and here's Santa's letter again below.  Yeah, I really do know him!

Merry Christmas Pete and Happy Holidays!

Looks like it's been a jolly good year for you and the fam.  Always great to see your PGAPappas 12 Days of Christmas Golf Giveaway spreading Christmas cheer to so many people all around the world again.  Don't think I haven't noticed how much it's grown over the years.  And your Christmas spirit even averted a Christmas disaster for me up here in the North Pole!

As you probably know everyone here in the North Pole loves playing golf, the elves are always singing Here Comes Santa Claus, hitting golf balls all over the workshop.  Problem before this year however, was the sons of nutcrackers were just terrible at it. And this year it nearly drove me to triple shots in my evening eggnog.

Balls were flying all over the place. I'm not even kidding.  Clogging up snow machines, breaking candy canes, even broke a set of Mrs. Claus' favorite spectacles and the speedometer on my sled.  Rudolph, Blitzen, and Dasher got tagged by a few balls too, and it took a good couple of weeks for the dimple imprints to disappear.  I knew things were out of control when the elves stopped apologizing, and instead just started handing out signed gloves to anyone they hit.  If I was going to save Christmas, I had to do something fast.

So I checked out your Cleveland RTX ZipCore Wedge review and decided to buy them for all the elves.  And wouldn't you know it?  They're more proficient hitting wedges now than they are making cookies and preparing toys.  New problem is they're screaming at me all day long "Tend the pin fat man!" Turned em into a bunch of alpha wolves honestly.  But it's increased elf morale, the North Pole has never operated more efficiently, and everyone's happy again.  Take it from me, ZipCore will make someone's Christmas just perfect in your 12 Days.

Well, have to get back to it here.  Be sure to leave me some of those nice little cake cookies your wife makes for the holidays on Christmas Eve.  And are they cookies or cakes anyway?  Never can tell, just know I love em.

Will write again soon,
Your pal,
Santa

    1. Would you believe we actually haven't played together yet? Always someone's schedule doesn't line up. We've talked golf a lot though, and he's a plodder but likes to take the aggressive lines too. He's never told me his handicap, but just get the feeling he's player through and through.
