Playing the new SteelFiber fc115 Flight Control graphite iron shafts, Clark Dennis authored an amazing come-from-behind win to claim his fifth European Senior Tour victory. Clark finished strong with a stunning final round of 63 to overcome a six-stroke deficit in the final round.
Both the second-place team, consisting of Jin Young Ko and Minjee Lee, and the T3 finishing team of sisters Ariya and Moriya Jutanugarn played a mix of SteelFiber i80 and the new SteelFiber h-series graphite iron shafts.
Aerotech Golf President Chris Hilleary said,
"Congratulations to the WINSTONgolf Senior Open champion for an amazing come-from-behind win and to the teams playing at the Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitation. SteelFiber shafts incorporate high-modulus graphite and micro-thin steel fibers, a one-of-a-kind combination that allow players to increase yardage, reduce fatigue, and still maintain the stability and accuracy normally associated with steel shafts. SteelFiber's innovative technology has proven itself as a game-changer every week and on pro tours around the world."
SteelFiber shafts provide superior performance through revolutionary composite engineering that combines a high-modulus graphite core with 59 miles of steel fiber lacing the shaft surface. The shaft's graphite core provides vibration dampening, increased clubhead speed and maximum distance, while the steel fibers produce optimum weighting for a solid feel at impact and add stability and control for pinpoint accuracy.
