General Conclusions
Ping does a great job distinguishing the i240, i540, and G540 irons to give players different and unique performance strengths based on what you want or need most from your iron game.
The i240 delivered the tightest dispersion as well as the highest spin. And that's going to appeal to most better players as well as any players who put a premium on precision or higher spin.
The i540 will likely have the most carry distance of all irons for a majority of players like it did for me. But i540 is more than a distance iron. Ping increased the spin and launch with i540 so it delivers more control and precision than i530 did. In fact, spin, launch, and dispersion between i240 and i540 are much closer than they were between i230 and i530.
And G440 is going to probably be the longest overall distance irons for many players and the easiest to launch of all models. G440 is also going to be the most consistent if you tend to miss all over the face as the most forgiving iron of all models.
