FootJoy Flex LE3 Golf Shoes Review

With massage elements in the footbed and extra padding around the ankle and heel, the new FootJoy Flex LE3 are arguably the most comfortable shoes in the Flex family.

The molded foam upper is lightweight and soft to touch, but firm enough to feel support wrapping around your foot.

There’s also a stretch to it which snugs your foot in even more. And little beads in the footbed give you a real massaging action that’s just ridiculously awesome.

LE3 also delivers the greatest ground stability feel of all the Flex shoes I’ve worn, with the same outstanding traction.  LE3 are not waterproof, but I've worn them in soft conditions after a rain and no moisture got in.  I wouldn't wear while it's raining steady however, unless maybe it was just a gentle shower.

The LE3 outsole ridges are just as deep/long as Pro SL knobs, and give you just about the same overall traction coverage. Courses are getting softer now and I’ve had no slippage issues at all.

You have more internal ankle and heel cushion with LE3 than LE2 (similar to how Flex coastal has more cushion). I’d distinguish Coastal cushion from LE3 cushion by calling LE3 more of a padded sensation.

The midsole and foodbed cushion is very soft and shock absorbing like the others in Flex line, but as mentioned LE3 just feels more stable.

Finally, seen some say these run large, but I wear the same size in the LE3 as I do with Coastal and LE2.

Overall, the Flex LE3 are going to be fantastically comfortable shoes for any kind of course, give you traction that compares favorably to the Pro SL line, and for many golfers will be a favorite everyday shoe most of the year.
