Tour Edge Launches Exotics 725 Fairway Metals and Hybrids Marking 20 Years of Exotics

Tour Edge, the pound for pound industry leader in performance and innovation, announces their new Exotics 725 Fairway Metals and Hybrids with the new C725 fairway and hybrid (Competition Spec) and the E725 fairway and hybrid (Extreme Spec).

The new E725 metals are MOI+ designs built for maximum forgiveness, while the new C725 designs are all about harnessing power and flight tuned performance.

All four metals include new designs that feature 3D Diamond Face advancements with three-dimensional diamond shapes behind the face for greater ball speeds, plus 360° Ridgeback Technology for superior forgiveness and feel. They all also utilize RyzerSole technology and a new Power Channel in each design.

The C designs from the Tour Edge engineers include a revamped Flight Tuning System with fixed weight ports for greater ease of use.

David Glod and company will be celebrating 20 years of Exotics in 2025. They launched the first Exotics clubs in 2005 with the Exotics CB Series, leading to no-pay tour play from some of the biggest names in golf, and propelling Tour Edge into the ultra-premium market.

“We’ve always been known as a fairway wood and hybrid company due to the unheard-of performance we started producing in 2005 with our first Exotics, and I truly feel like Exotics metals are back in a big way with these releases for 2025,” said Tour Edge CEO and chief designer David Glod.

“The buzz around the 725 fairways on tour has been the biggest I have experienced in quite some time, and there is more tech than ever featured in these new designs. Golfers will need to get these on their must-hit list.”

For the first time ever, the 725 Series was introduced to the PGA TOUR as prototypes to help the design team get as much feedback as possible for the final 725 designs.

The prototypes were introduced to the PGA TOUR Champions in early 2024 and took off with extremely fast player adoption, becoming our most played fairway metals and hybrids on the 2024 Tour, accounting for over 50% of Tour Edge metals in playon the tour.

Fifteen different players have chosen to put the prototype metals into play so far this season.

“It was invaluable for us to get prototypes of the 725 to the tour almost a full year ahead of the launch,” said Glod. “We were able to listen to the players feedback in real-time along with the creation of the final designs. The Champions tour is the perfect proving ground to evaluate this new innovation and make for certain that we have everything perfect in the designs for the end consumer.

The players have loved the protos, including many non-endorsed players,” said Glod. “To be able to go out and prove that beyond a shadow of a doubt before launch has been incredible for us as we celebrate 20 years of Exotics in 2025 with this launch.”

The Exotics E725 and C725 fairways and hybrids are available for pre-order at authorized Tour Edge golf shops around the world beginning October 15th and will be available in-store and for custom fitting starting on November 1st.

Exotics E725 Fairway Metal

EXTREME FORGIVENESS

MOI+ Design

This shallow-faced fairway metal features an adjustable 10-gram weight at the extreme trailing edge on the sole of the clubhead that creates an extremely high Moment of Inertia.

The E725 fairways extreme low-rearward CG position produces an extremely high MOI and a deeper CG position. The position of the backweight helps deliver an optimally located CG, maximizing MOI, and aiding extreme stability and resistance to twisting at impact.

Adjustable Rear Weight

This adjustable rear weighting features a 10-gram weight at the extreme trailing edge on the sole of the clubhead. The position of the backweight helps deliver an optimally located CG based on the individual player and their swing.

Installation of different weights also allows dialing in of required swing weight at custom lengths. All 725 series weights are swappable from club to club. Nine different individual weights will be available from 5 grams to 28 grams for Tour Edge’s largest ever fitting matrix.

360° Ridgeback Technology

Tour Edge engineers employed the Ridgeback Titanium brace for the E725 features increased structural properties and 360° perimeter weighting. The 360° Ridgeback wraps around the entire perimeter to frame the entire clubhead. This Ridgeback 360-degree brace acts as a brace for the entire clubhead to produce more power across the entire face, including the extreme perimeters. Adding additional Titanium to the entire perimeter with a thicker ridge at center face allows more support on off-center hits to increase face deflection.

3D Diamond Face

New 3D Diamond Face is made up of new three-dimensional shapes of variable thickness located behind the face, bringing the face to life with full depth and height of the Diamond shapes being utilized. 3D Diamond Face coverage removes additional weight from the face and dramatically increases ball speed on off-center hits while also greatly aiding forgiveness strikes to the extreme heel and toe of the clubhead.

There are 61 total diamond shapes featured on the fairway, comprising five different thicknesses in an interweaving pattern. The mini-trampolines that make-up 3D Diamond Face create faster ball speeds and an expanded sweet spot. The mini-trampolines that make-up 3D Diamond Face create faster ball speeds and an expanded sweet spot, while the reduction in face thickness on the heel and toe adds forgiveness on mishits and dramatically increases ball speed on off-center hits.

RyzerSole Technology + Power Channel

The RyzerSole on the E725 fairway metal includes a sole rail and added weight that extends from leading edge to trialing edge and a new Power Channel has been incorporated into the 725 designs directly behind the face on the sole of the clubhead.

RyzerSole produces a super-low CG for high launching shots with optimized spin rates, decreased turf interaction and maximum ball speed off the face, while the Power Channel creates better weight distribution and increased face flexing and delivers amplified ball speed and less spin, as well as added forgiveness on shots struck lower on the face.

Finned Internal Ribbing

Upgraded acoustic engineering is achieved through Finned Internal Ribbing strategically placed on the inside of the clubhead. Internally, the finned ribbing bounce sound on the inside of the club to provide top-shelf sound and feel.

Exotics C725 Fairway Metal

FLIGHT-TUNED PERFORMANCE

RyzerSole / Titanium + Tungsten + Carbon

This all-Titanium face and body fairway metal features the revolutionary 90-gram RyzerSolto make for an unprecedented amount of sole weight placed low and forward in the clubhead. The RyzerSole on the C725 Fairway Metals combines distinct features on the sole of the clubhead; 90-grams are placed as low as possible in the sole of the clubhead (75-permanent Tungsten weight and a 15-gram adjustable weight) as part of a sole rail that extends from leading edge to trailing edge.

These design elements make up the RyzerSole that produces a super-low and forward CG, high-launching shots with amazingly low spin rates, decreased turf interaction and maximum ball speed off the face. The compact profile and deeper face of the C725 Fairway Metals are designed with the competitive player in mind, as was the full one-piece 6-4 Titanium body and face, a Carbon Crown and an adjustable hosel featured on the C725. The Titanium face and body of the C725 Fairway Metal merged with a Carbon Crown provides the ultimate in power and feel.

The 15-gram adjustable weight in the middle of the RyzerSole is also available in heavier and lighter weights to provide an unprecedented range of 80 grams to 96 grams of optional weight for the ultimate in CG, MOI, and swing weight manipulation.

Flight Tuning System

This all-new Flight Tuning System features a two-tier Front/Back Weight System with a back weight that is easily able to move to the Draw, Neutral or Fade weight ports that have been designed for the 725 Series. An adjustable 15-gram weight directly behind the face and the addition of a 5-gram back weight to create an amazingly effective front/back weighting system for MOI and spin control.

The C725 Fairway will come standard with a 5-gram weight in the back and a 15-gram weight in the front. This allows for adjustability at a rate of +/- 200 RPMs of spin rate when the weights are switched.

Moving the back weight to the different weight ports allows for a +/- 5-yard heel and toe bias in directional flight. For example, if you were to move the weight to the Fade weight port, your flight would adjust 5 yards right for a right-handed player, and vice versa for the Draw setting.

All 725 series weights are swappable from club to club. Nine different individual weights will be available from 5 grams to 28 grams for Tour Edge’s largest ever fitting matrix.
