2025 U.S. Women's Amateur: Meet the Quarterfinalists

Friday’s 2025 U.S. Women’s Amateur quarterfinal matches will commence at 1:40 p.m. PDT, while the semifinals on Saturday are scheduled for 11:15 a.m.and 11:30 a.m.

Sunday’s 36-hole championship match will begin at 9:30 a.m. and resume after the lunch break at a time to be determined. Golf Channel has live coverage of the quarterfinals from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. EDT. Here’s a closer look at the eight Quarterfinalists.

Brooke Biermann, 22, of Wildwood, Mo. 

  • WAGR: 112 

  • Played in the 2025 U.S. Women’s Open (MC) 

  • Recent graduate of Michigan State University 

  • All-Big Team First Team selection 

  • Left Michigan State with a career scoring average of 72.96, the third-best scoring average in program history 

  • Semifinalist in the 2025 Women’s Western Amateur Championship last month

Kiara Romero, 19, of San Jose, CA

  • Competing in third U.S. Women’s Amateur 

  • Competed in the 2024 and 2025 U.S. Women’s Opens 

  • Rising junior at University of Oregon 

  • In 2025, won the NCAA Golf Canyon Regional and the Big Ten Women's Golf Championships 

  • In 2024, won the Annika Intercollegiate and the 2024 San Diego State Classic 

  • Won the 2023 U.S. Girls’ Junior Championship 

  • Competed in this year’s U.S. Women’s Amateur with her sister, Kaleiya, who is also the graduate assistant coach at University of Oregon
