2025 U.S. Amateur: Meet the Quarterfinalists

The 2025 U.S. Amateur quarterfinal matches on Friday are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. PDT, with the last match teeing off at 2:15 p.m.

Saturday’ssemifinals are set for 11 and 11:20 a.m., and the first 18 of Sunday’s 36-hole championship match is scheduled for 10:15 a.m. Heres a closer look at the quarterfinalists.

Jimmy Abdo, 19, of Edina, Minn. 

  • WAGR: 4292
  • Competing in his first USGA championship
  • 2025 MIAC Rookie of the Year 
  • Rising sophomore at Division III Gustavus Adolphus College
  • Competed in the 2025 Minnesota State Open Championship
  • Participant at the 2025 MGA Players’ Championship
