PING Golf Announces New i525 Irons

PING Golf has announced their new i525 irons, players distance irons designed to deliver distance gains and improved sound and feel.  Custom fittings are available beginning today, February 8th.

The Home Course Will Host 2023 U.S. Women’s Amateur Four-Ball Championship

The United States Golf Association (USGA) today announced that The Home Course, in DuPont, Wash., will host the 8th U.S. Women’s Amateur Four-Ball Championship. The dates of the championship are May 13-17, 2023.

This will be the second USGA championship to be held at The Home Course, which hosted the 2014 U.S. Women’s Amateur Public Links. The course also served as the stroke-play co-host for the 2010 U.S. Amateur and 2021 U.S. Amateur Four-Ball, each of which was contested at Chambers Bay. The U.S. Women’s Amateur Four-Ball Championship returns to the Pacific Northwest for the first time since the inaugural event was played in 2015 at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, in Bandon, Ore.

Reynolds Lake Oconee to Host Top Men and Women Collegiate Golfers

Reynolds Lake Oconee will serve as the epicenter for top collegiate golfers during the next four weeks as it plays host to women’s and men’s intercollegiate golf tournaments, including the 17th annual Linger Longer Invitational (LLI) next month.

Hosted by Mercer University, the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational — set for Friday, Feb. 18 to Sunday, Feb. 20 — will attract some of the country’s top women college players. Other highly ranked programs include East Tennessee State, defending champion North Florida, Chattanooga and Wisconsin.

Two Time Major Champion Stacy Lewis Rejoins Mizuno Golf

Already the softest golf ball in the Titleist golf ball family, the new TruFeel has been re-designed for more distance than ever before in combination with even softer greenside feel. Daniel Island Club Selected to Host Two USGA Championships

The USGA today announced that the Daniel Island Club, in Charleston, S.C., has been selected as the host site for the 2023 U.S. Junior Amateur and 2026 U.S. Women’s Amateur Four-Ball Championships. These will be the first two USGA championships held at Daniel Island Club.

“The commitment of two USGA championships to Daniel Island is a testament to the enthusiasm of the club and the challenge that its two courses will provide to competitors in both stroke play and match play,” said Mark Hill, USGA managing director, Championships. “We are proud to add Daniel Island Club as a championship host site and look forward to bringing the U.S. Junior Amateur and the U.S. Women’s Four-Ball Championships back to the state of South Carolina.”

PGA Tour to Expand Trackman Tracer and Tracking for Every Shot in 2022

The PGA TOUR and TrackMan announced today they are expanding golf’s most advanced club and ball tracking and tracing solution. By combining TrackMan’s cutting-edge Doppler Radar and club and ball tracking technology, TOUR events will have tracing capabilities for every golf shot hit during the season. This will significantly enhance how fans experience the world’s best golfers by providing more detail for television, OTT and digital platforms.

Duininck Completes Renovation of Historic Country Club of Columbus

The Country Club of Columbus is steeped in history. From Bobby Jones and Fred Haskins, through to the membership of today, fiercely proud of their legacy and of the Donald Ross original. Ross significantly improved the original 1909 13-hole course nearly 100 years ago, converting it into the remarkable 18 it is now.

Duininck is a golf construction company widely respected for their ability to retain characteristics and components of the original architecture in their restorations and improvements. “We take a great deal of pride in our classic restorations,” CEO Judd Duininck says, noting it’s always a humbling honor to be asked to take on such distinguished assignments.
