Arccos and TaylorMadeGolf Expand Partnership with Launch of Track Better Play Better Program

Arccos – the pioneer of big data and Artificial Intelligence for golf – today announced the expansion of its partnership with TaylorMade Golf, providing new club purchasers with the opportunity to receive a free set of Arccos Caddie Smart Sensors, free shipping and a 45-day trial membership to the award-winning platform by visiting taylormade.arccosgolf.com.

Golf’s first Artificial Intelligence platform, Arccos Caddie automatically tracks your shots while delivering in-round insights and personalized Strokes Gained analytics. The system is highlighted by an A.I.-powered rangefinder, smart club distances and caddie advice for every golf hole on earth. These innovations helped new Arccos Caddie members who played at least 10 rounds lowered their handicap index by an average of 5.78 strokes in 2021.

“The world’s best players, including TaylorMade’s staff of major champions, all leverage on-course data and Strokes Gained analysis to determine their strengths and weaknesses. This is what led Dustin Johnson to focus on his approach shots from 100 yards – a change that led to winning his first major and reaching the #1 ranking,” said Sal Syed, Arccos CEO and Co-Founder. “Arccos’ mission is to allow every golfer, anywhere in the world, to take the same approach. This strategic partnership with TaylorMade now provides millions of players with the opportunity to automatically track their shots and use our personalized Strokes Gained analysis to unlock their true potential.”

The latest expansion of Arccos and TaylorMade’s multi-year partnership, the ‘Track Better. Play Better.’ program is valid in the U.S. and Canada for purchasers of select clubs from TaylorMade’s acclaimed product line-up – including Stealth Drivers and complete iron sets (Stealth, P790, P770, P7MC and P7MB).

“This strategic partnership with Arccos helps enable our mission to be the world’s best performance golf brand,” said David Abeles, CEO of TaylorMade Golf. “By providing our customers with an incredible opportunity to access the Arccos Caddie platform, we are able to gather data in real-time and deliver unparalleled insights across every facet of their game. This same data allows us to better understand how our clubs perform on the course, helping us continue to push the limits of technology and create innovative products that deliver higher performance.”

Arccos members have recorded 9 million rounds and 500 million shots with the system while playing courses in 194 countries. This feeds the world’s largest on-course dataset, which now includes over 35 billion separate data points that fuel Arccos’ industry-leading Strokes Gained engine. This allows any user to select their personal handicap goal, then benchmarks their performance versus that target.

The company’s recent releases are highlighted by a groundbreaking golf ball data capture system. This represents the initial step in Arccos’ process of analyzing how a player’s ball selection may impact every aspect of their game, from equipment choices to club selection to in-play strategy.

The Arccos Caddie system and the Arccos Caddie Link wearable are permitted under the Rules of Golf (USGA Decision Numbers 2018-0414 and 2020-0305).
