Ashworth Golf Signs PGA Tour Player Tom Hoge

To complement Fred Couples return to Ashworth Golf, Newtimes Group, a global leader of retail supply chain management, today announced that PGA TOUR golfer Tom Hoge, currently ranked #30 in the Official World Golf Rankings, has signed with the iconic brand as Ashworth Golf returns to the US market.

Hoge, who will be outfitted in Ashworth Golf apparel when competing on the PGA TOUR and other professional events around the world, has one victory on the PGA TOUR (2022 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am), and recently captured the QBE Shootout in December alongside partner Sahith Theegala. He also finished T-3 to kick off 2023 at the Sentry Tournament of Champions.

NBC Sports presents a record nearly 450 hours of live professional women’s golf coverage in 2023 featuring coverage of all 35 LPGA Tour events, headlined by live coverage of five major championships, the Solheim Cup and the Hanwha LIFEPLUS International Crown, across NBC, GOLF Channel, USA Network, Peacock, and NBC Sports digital platforms.

Zach Johnson Names Davis Love III as U.S. Vice Captain for 2023 Ryder Cup

United States Ryder Cup Captain Zach Johnson today named Davis Love III as one of his Vice Captains for the 2023 Ryder Cup, which will take place September 29 – October 1 at Marco Simone Golf & Country Club in Rome, Italy.

Johnson previously appointed former Ryder Cup Captain Steve Stricker as a Vice Captain on February 28, 2022. Additional Vice Captains will be announced at a later date.

Landscapes Unlimited Completes Projects at Desert Mountain Club in Scottsdale

Golf course developer and construction company Landscapes Unlimited has completed enhancement projects at two golf courses at Desert Mountain Club in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Closely collaborating with Nicklaus Design, Marvin Mills Irrigation Consulting and Desert Mountain’s agronomic team, Landscapes Unlimited’s work at the Renegade course included construction of a new driving range to accommodate a new clubhouse build; re-surface and re-seed of fairways and tees from bent grass to rye; and several changes to the first hole.  The company also expanded and enhanced the driving range tee area at the Apache course.
