EA Sports PGA Tour New Gameplay Trailer Ahead of Launch and Road to The Masters Invitational

EA released a brand new gameplay video for the upcoming EA SPORTS PGA TOUR, launching Friday, April 7 on Xbox Series X|S, PS5 and PC.

Featuring sports gaming content creator TheApexHound, the video showcases many of the incredible gameplay features that players will get their hands on when EA SPORTS PGA TOUR launches globally next week. Players will get a sneak peek at the famous Pebble Beach and Bay Hill courses, while witnessing an online multiplayer match also featuring producer Ben Ramsour.

SCGA, Los Angeles Country Club, and the USGA Align on 2023 U.S. Open Community Legacy Benefitting Underserved Communities

The Southern California Golf Association (SCGA), in collaboration with the United States Golf Association (USGA) and the 2023 U.S. Open host site, The Los Angeles Country Club (LACC), today announced the launch of a campaign that will create a community legacy for underserved and underrepresented youth.

The FORE Youth: 2023 U.S. Open Community Legacy Campaign will provide more opportunities for youth in Los Angeles and throughout Southern California to participate in the game and thrive on and beyond the course.

TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley Announces North Course Renovation

TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley announced on Monday a major enhancement project on its parkland-style North course and practice facilities, with work beginning in late 2023. Renowned golf course architect Ian Andrew will lead the renovation, which will see the North enhanced as a venue for high-level championship competition while retaining its signature appeal for golfers of all abilities.

The project will begin in early August, with work scheduled to be completed by the end of the 2023 season in time for a grand opening alongside TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley’s new clubhouses, on-site accommodations and amenities in 2024.

Trout National The Reserve Features Championship Course Designed by Tiger Woods and TGR

Mike Trout, the three-time American League MVP and 10-time Major League Baseball All-Star for the Los Angeles Angels, with local partner and businessman John Ruga, are set to begin construction on a new state-of-the-art golf club in southern New Jersey.

The centerpiece of Trout National – The Reserve is an 18-hole golf course designed by Tiger Woods and his golf course architecture firm, TGR Design. Tiger and his team will also design a cutting-edge practice range and short-game area. Holly Hills Country Club Unveils Extensive Club Improvement Project

Holly Hills Country Club unveiled an extensive club improvement project aimed at enhancing the overall member and guest experience. Part of new local ownership’s initial strategic five-year plan, the improvement project features a $3.5 million investment into renovations to the club’s facilities, amenities and grounds. Phase one of the project, which is already underway, is expected to be complete by year’s end.

PGA Tour Players Overwhelmingly Select Bushnell as Top Choice among Laser Rangefinders

For another consecutive year, Bushnell Golf is definitively the preferred distance-measuring device on the PGA Tour. The Darrell Survey Company, the golf industry’s leading independent and impartial arbiter of equipment use, recently reported that 99.3 percent of the 2023 Players Championship field used a Bushnell laser rangefinder to obtain accurate yardages during competition.

In a survey of 144 players taken during the Players Championship, 143 of those players named Bushnell as their preferred distance-measuring device. Bushnell has claimed the top spot among PGA Tour players every year since measuring device usage recording began in 2006, and once again has been crowned the distance measuring device of choice for PGA Tour players participating in one of the most competitive events in golf.

Aon Risk Reward Challenge at Valero Texas Open at TPC San Antonio

At just under 350 yards on the scorecard, the 17th at TPC San Antonio is a short par 4 that can be set up – and played – many different ways. When the forward tee is utilized, players are incentivized to go for the green, with 68 percent of the field making that decision.

From the back tee, a layup to the correct area can be beneficial. When positioned 60 to 100 yards from the pin with the second shot, players make birdie more than 34 percent of the time.

First Place Finish for Fujikura Ventus on PGA Tour and DP World Tour

Fujikura, the leader in performance golf shafts, was honored to be the #1 driver and wood shaft at both events on the PGA Tour last week. Fujikura shafts featured in the bags of the majority of the field at both events, including all of the PGA Tour and DP World Tour winners who each had VENTUS in the bag on their way to victory.

PING Introduces PLD Limited PING Slam Collection

It hadn’t happened before and it hasn’t happened since for any putter brand, but 35 years ago in 1988, PING putters were used to win all four major championships.

To celebrate the remarkable achievement, the company is introducing the “PING Slam” collection as part of its PLD Limited program. Former Sooner Logan McAllister Joins Bridgestone Golf Tour Staff
