Holly Hills Country Club unveiled an extensive club improvement project aimed at enhancing the overall member and guest experience. Part of new local ownership’s initial strategic five-year plan, the improvement project features a $3.5 million investment into renovations to the club’s facilities, amenities and grounds. Phase one of the project, which is already underway, is expected to be complete by year’s end.
“Holly Hills is a special place with celebrated tradition,” said Holly Hills co-owner Darrell Guyon. “We are excited to preserve and enhance the club for future generations.”
To support the new ownership’s vision, the club also engaged members through round table discussions and member surveys throughout 2022 to help develop plans for the comprehensive improvement project starting in 2023, which includes:
Indoor clubhouse renovations to the McGinnis Grill, member lounge, main dining room, restrooms and foyer
Resurfacing and restriping of the existing tennis facility, highlighted by the addition of two new pickleball courts with tennis court striping for four additional pickleball courts
Construction of a new short game practice facility complete with short grass, tall grass, shallow and deep bunkers
Also new for 2023 is an upgraded fleet of E-Z-Go Golf Carts. In addition, the club introduced a new logo earlier this year.
While phase one is on track to be complete by the end of the year, new ownership plans to announce phase two’s capital improvement projects in quarter four of this year.
