Biltmore Championship in Asheville to debut in 2026 during PGA TOUR’s FedExCup Fall

The PGA TOUR, Biltmore Estate and Explore Asheville today announced a new PGA TOUR tournament, the Biltmore Championship in Asheville, set to debut in 2026 during the FedExCup Fall.

As part of a four-year agreement, Biltmore Estate and Explore Asheville will serve as co-title sponsors of Asheville’s first PGA TOUR event in more than 80 years, with the inaugural tournament set for September 17-20, 2026, at The Cliffs at Walnut Cove. The Biltmore Championship in Asheville will be broadcast on Golf Channel and three properties produced from PGA TOUR Studios: PGA TOUR LIVE on ESPN+, Sirius XM and the World Feed.

World-Class Golf Club Fitter Club Champion Coming to Holbrook and Lake Grove, NY

Custom golf club fitter Club Champion has signed leases and is planning for new locations in Holbrook and Lake Grove, New York. 

The Holbrook studio will be located at 5801 Sunrise Highway, Unti 310, while the Lake Grove studio will be located at 133 Alexander Avenue. Both studios are planned to open late-December 2025.

Troon Selected to Manage Reading Country Club

Troon Golf, the resort and daily-fee division of Troon will manage golf operations, agronomy, food and beverage as well as sales and marketing.

Chartered in 1922 and opened in 1923, Reading Country Club’s 18-hole, par-70 golf course was designed by Alexander Findlay. The 6,120-yard layout delivers a thrilling blend of playability and challenge, inviting golfers of all skill levels to test their game on a course that rewards strategy and precision. Reading Country Club has hosted golf royalty over its illustrious 102-year history, including Walter Hagen, Byron Nelson, Sam Snead, Ben Hogan and LPGA legend, Betsy King. Nelson, in fact, served as the Club’s head professional from 1937 to 1939 and famously won the 1937 Masters and 1939 U.S. Open while representing Reading Country Club.

LIV Golf Announces All Events Will Be 72 Holes in 2026

LIV Golf, the first truly global golf league, has announced that beginning in 2026, all events will be played over 72 holes, marking the next chapter of LIV Golf’s mission to grow and celebrate the sport for a new era of players and fans around the world.

Since its inception, LIV Golf events have featured a three-day 54-hole competition, playing the majority of events from Friday through Sunday. In 2026, all events will be played over four days, generally beginning on Thursday of event weeks (Wednesday, February 4 for LIV Golf Riyadh presented by ROSHN).
