It's been a busy time but I didn't forget about you! To make things a bit easier for me though this year's US Open Giveaway will be held exclusively here on my blog. To win, simply leave a comment in the section below about the Open, my coverage, the course, the prizes, or whatever you like.
Prizes this year include a US Open Shinnecock Tour Cap from the Merchandise Tent, an official Shinnecock scorecard, Shinnecock pencil, and Shinnecock ball marker.
Also up for grabs is a Shinnecock inspired alignment stick cover from CRU Golf (just like the one Rickie Fowler is using along with his US Open headcovers). The alignment stick covers have a very cool feather on them that's designed with the same colors in the same sequence as the Shinnecock Indian headband.
Someone's also getting a new pair of Callaway La Grange golf shoes. You pick the color and size - they come in black, brown, white, and you saw the special red, white, and blue edition Marc Leishman has been wearing all week. You already know how comfortable and stable these are if you're reading my blog. One of the best new shoes of the season.
Good Luck to all who enter, and here's to a great Sunday finish at Shinnecock!
Thank you for taking us on the course with you as you played on Media Day. Congrats on the birdies!

Loved reading all the info this weekend. To bad the players didn't. Happy fathers day to all you Dads out there.
ReplyDeleteLoved your posts!! It's pouring rain in MN so a perfect reason to watch. So many stories!
ReplyDeleteBesides a few questionable pin placements on Saturday , This has been a very entertaining US open to watch. It is refreshing to see the pros struggle a little bit .

Did the Rogue take the place of the F8 in your bag? Fleetwood lit it up today at Shinnecock.
ReplyDeleteI like seeing over par or even winning . It makes feel better about my game lol
ReplyDeleteThanks for the coverage and the insight of your being there through the weather and the mis-steps of a couple of pro's and the USGA almost losing this place-again. always value our opinion when you are onsite Pete.
ReplyDeleteKoepka’s shot into the 16th was fire.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the great coverage during the year. Shinnecock is great and now my bucket list course to play.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great coverage and another fun giveaway Pete. Mixed emotions about this years US Open. But having fun watching the final round.

3rd times a charm with this post I'm hoping. A lot of fun this year watching a winner at even par versus -20.

Crazy Open but still fun to watch
ReplyDeleteGreat coverage Pete!!🍻⛳
ReplyDeleteSaturday truly became a game of luck opposed to skill. The course really still did not look in “major” shape but Koepka played some extremely good golf and pulled it off!!

ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty good show by BK! Two in a row. Huge. Thanks Pete for doing these giveaways. Very kind of you! Have a great on everyone!
ReplyDeleteTwitter handle @DocJGolfer Liked the twitter coverage, especially when you put the pin placements of all 18 holes. Glad you got to play the course (and did better on 1st hole than several top guys). Hope you had more fun playing it than some of the pros did this week.
ReplyDeleteThose Callaway shoes would be a welcome addition to my feet :)
