Fancy Footwork: Callaway Golf 2019 Skyline Golf Shoes Preview

Callaway Golf stepped back into the golf shoe game in a strong way in 2018 with new models boasting technology that delivered unrivaled comfort, traction, and stability.  The La Grange and Swami 2.0 were two of my favorite and highest rated golf shoes of the season, and performed well in both dry and wet conditions. 

 

Callaway is now expanding their spikeless shoe collection for 2019, and the new Skyline shoes promise an excellent combination of performance, comfort, and affordability.  Scheduled to be released in October, the Skyline have their roots in technological performance, with an appearance that's clean and contemporary. 

The foundation of the new Skyline shoes is built on Callaway's new POWERdrive platform.  A Duo-Max midsole combines a top layer of EVA foam with a more supportive bottom layer to result in incredible support and stability. 

 

The FusionLite TPU spikeless outsole delivers a better level of traction during your swing while still allowing you to walk naturally. The outsole includes strategic cutouts placed in positions that allow the shoes to flex and move with your feet throughout your swing. 

Inside the Skyline is a POWERdrive insole with soft, molded EVA foam to give you additional heel and arch support - promising to make them some of the most comfortable spikeless shoes of 2019.  The Skyline uppers are made of full-grain leather and are backed by a two-year waterproof warranty.
