Aerotech SteelFiber Shafts Score First and Second Place Finishes at LPGA Swinging Skirts

Aerotech SteelFiber shafts claimed first and second place finishes last week at the Taiwan Swinging Skirts on the LPGA.

Nelly Korda played SteelFiber i80 shafts in her irons to defend her 2018 title, while Minjee Lee finished runner-up and also used SteelFiber i80 shafts.

Korda hit 16 of 18 greens in the final round to hold off Lee in a one-hole playoff.

Aerotech Golf President Chris Hilleary said,
"We congratulate the champion on finishing strong for her back-to-back victory.  SteelFiber shafts deliver stability and increased distance while simultaneously decreasing player fatigue, reducing aggravation of existing injuries and lowering the risk of new injuries."

SteelFiber shafts provide superior performance through revolutionary composite engineering that combines a high-modulus graphite core with 59 miles of steel fiber lacing the shaft surface.  The shaft's graphite core provides vibration dampening, increased clubhead speed and maximum distance, while the steel fibers produce optimum weighting for a solid feel at impact and add stability and control for pinpoint accuracy.
