SIK Golf Captures 10th Tour Victory with Win at The Mayakoba Golf Classic

SIK Golf captured its tenth PGA TOUR victory and fourth this year at the Mayakoba Golf Classic held at the El Camaleon Golf Club in Mexico this past weekend.

Using a SIK Pro C-Series putter, Brendon Todd the winner drained a gutty par putt on the final hole for a one-stroke victory and his second straight PGA Tour title.  Todd won the Bermuda Championship in his previous start just two weeks earlier.

In doing so, he became the first player to win consecutive Tour events since Bryson DeChambeau, who was victorious in the first two events of the 2018 FedEx Cup Playoffs at The Northern Trust and Dell Technologies Championship.  Ironically, DeChambeau captured all five of his PGA TOUR victories with a SIK Flo model putter in his bag.

Todd shot rounds of 63, 68, 65 and 68 to finish at 20 under par and ranked T-1st in Birdies, with 24, for the tournament.  He is now ranked first on the FedEx Cup Points List.

Todd said,
"It's incredible. I’m just overcome with emotion right now.  The whole final round was much more nerve-wracking than Bermuda."

Todd's Pro C-Series putter from SIK Golf is a custom milled putter that comes with a plumber's neck, a slant neck, or a post neck (face-balanced double bend) which offers a classic view of the ball at setup.

SIK Golf's Descending Loft Technology (DLT) is a patented putter face technology that incorporates four flat surfaces milled into their putter face.  Each plane descends in loft by 1 degree from the top of the face to the bottom of the face.  When your shaft is pressed at impact the ball contact will be higher on the face, same is true in reverse.  DLT delivers consistent launch angles from putt to putt which lead to more consistent and predictable rolls.
