Mitsubishi Dominates in Dubai

Sunday in Dubai Collin Morikawa did something no American has ever done before on the European Tour.  And Mitsubishi Golf did something on the European Tour only Mitsubishi Golf has ever done.

Morikawa turned the "Dubai Double" becoming the first American to capture the Race to Dubai by winning the DP World Tour Championship at Jumeirah Golf Estates course.

Three shots back of Rory McIlroy to begin the day, Morikawa caught fire on the back nine and birdied five of the last seven holes to card a 6-under 66 and triumph by three shots.

Using a Mitsubishi Diamana D+ TX in his driver and a Diamana D+ 80 TX in his 3 and 5 woods Morikawa finished 17-under in the European Tour's season ending tournament.

Matt Fitzpatrick finished an impressive T2 using Mitsubishi Tensei AV 65 TX in his  driver and Mitsubishi Tensei AV 75 TX in 3 and 5 woods.  And out of the 14 players who finished in the top-10, 11 used Mitsubishi or Aldila shafts.

Mitsubishi won the driver shaft count with over 50-percent driver shaft usage and combined with Aldila had over 60-percent driver shaft usage.

For the season Mitsubishi won the driver shaft count every single week on the European Tour this year.  That's not a typo.  Every single week.

And even more mind-blowing?  Mitsubishi has won the driver count every single week on the European Tour, wait for it... for the last 13 years.  Drop the mic Mitsubishi, no one does it better.
