PXG Pro and Major Champion Celine Boutier Claims 4th Win of the Year

PXG LPGA Tour Professional Celine Boutier continued her winning streak with a spectacular victory at the Maybank Championship at Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club. With eight birdies during her final round, Boutier found herself tied for the lead after 18-holes. The tournament went into a head-to-head nine-hole playoff, tying the record for second-longest playoff in LPGA Tour history. Boutier ultimately came out on top, conquering the competition to clinch the win.

“I feel like my game has been solid this season and was confident if I stayed focused this week, I could earn another win,” PXG LPGA Tour Professional Celine Boutier shared. “Lifting the trophy after playing an additional nine-holes was very overwhelming. I am so proud to celebrate this win with my family, friends, caddie, and the rest of my team – including PXG – who have invested so much to help me pursue my dreams.”

Celine Boutier’s win at the Maybank Champion is her fourth this season. Recently, she won the Amundi Evian Championship and the FREED GROUP Women’s Scottish Open in back-to-back weeks. She also won the LPGA Drive on Championship earlier this year. As a result of her incredible play, Boutier is currently first in the Race to the CME Globe.

“I couldn’t be more proud to have such an accomplished player representing PXG,” said PXG founder and CEO Bob Parsons. “Winning four times in a season is truly a remarkable feat and I don’t see her momentum slowing any time soon. Congratulations Celine on another lights out performance and an exceptional season!”
