Phoenix Country Club will host the PGA TOUR Champions’ Charles Schwab Cup Championship Thursday – Sunday, November 7 – 10. The 2024 season-ending event will be the 50th professional golf tournament played at Phoenix Country Club in the historic venue’s 125-year history – more than any other golf facility in Arizona (TPC Scottsdale is number two with 36 events).
The Charles Schwab Cup Championship has been played at Phoenix Country Club since 2017 after relocating from Desert Mountain Country Club. In addition to the Schwab Cup, the venerable downtown Phoenix club hosted the Phoenix Open 42 times, including annually from 1932-1954 and 1972-1986, and every other year between 1956 and 1970. Golf course developer and construction company Landscapes Unlimited has completed major irrigation work at Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield, New Jersey and Prairie Dunes Country Clubin Hutchinson, Kansas.
At Baltusrol, Landscapes Unlimited installed a Paul Roche of Golf Water-designed state-of-the-art irrigation system and power communication wiring for a new Precision Air system on the Upper Course. Gil Hanse is the project architect.
