Tour Edge Announces Exotics 725 Drivers, including the 10K MOI E725 Driver

Tour Edge, the pound for pound industry leader in performance and innovation, announces their new Exotics 725 Drivers, the most forgiving family of drivers the company has produced with the 10K MOI E725 and C725 low-spin design.

The higher the MOI, the greater the resistance to twisting on off-center hits. When the club twists, energy is lost. Reducing twisting helps with both accuracy and ball speed retention on off-center hits.

In 2006, with the advent of square drivers, the USGA implemented an MOI limit of 5,900 g-cm2. The 5,900 g-cm2 only applies to the MOIy, which defines heel-toe forgiveness. The ‘new’ measurement includes the MOIx, which defines up-down forgiveness.

That leads to the formula of MOIY + MOIX = MOI10K, or HEEL-TOE FORGIVENESS + UP-DOWN FORGIVENESS = RESISTANCE TO TWISTING AND FULL-FACE FORGIVENESS.

The E725 driver boasts a combined total MOI greater than the 10,000 g-cm² (10K) threshold, the result of strategic placement of mass in the clubhead and the effects of the 360° Ridgeback technology utilized in the design.

The C725 driver takes an emphasis on flight tuned performance and player-preferred shaping, while still boasting an extremely high MOI rating just under1,000 g-cm² under the 10K mark.

“We’re getting into the 10K inertia market with a true performer in the E725 driver,” said Tour Edge founder,” CEO and chief designer David Glod. “You can’t place a value on a clubhead that provides extremely straight drives from anywhere on the face as it simply and efficiently creates lower scores for every golfer. Both the E and C heads are astoundingly forgiving.

Forgiveness has been something we’ve been excelling at in Exotics, at the very top of our industry, but this is an entirely new level,” said Glod. With 725, we are offering two specs that fit exactly what a certain player type is seeking for their performance off the tee. It is definitively game-changing how the725 drivers perform.

The all-new designs from the Tour Edge engineers include a revamped Flight Tuning System with fixed weight ports for greater ease of use, 3D Diamond Face advancements with three-dimensional diamond shapes behind the face for greater ball speeds, plus 360° Ridgeback Technology for superior forgiveness and feel.

More carbon fiber is utilized in the 725 designs and has replaced the Ridgeback spine for a brand-new look with sleek designs that offer Tour Edge’s cleanest looking Exotics to date.

For the first time ever, the 725 Series was introduced to the PGA TOUR as prototypes to help the design team get as much feedback as possible for the final 725 designs.

The prototypes were introduced to the PGA TOUR Champions in early 2024 and took off with extremely fast player adoption, becoming the company’s most played drivers on the 2024 Tour, accounting for over 60% of their drivers in play.

“It was invaluable for us to get prototypes of the 725 to the tour almost a full year ahead of the launch,” said Glod. “We were able to listen to the players feedback in real-time along with the creation of the final designs. The Champions tour is the perfect proving ground to evaluate this new innovation and make certain that we have everything perfect in the designs for the end consumer.

The players have loved the protos, including many non-endorsed players,” said Glod. To be able to go out and prove that beyond a shadow of a doubt before launch has been incredible for us as we celebrate 20 years of Exotics in 2025 with this launch.”

The Exotics E725 and C725 drivers are available for pre-order at authorized Tour Edge golf shops around the world beginning October 15th and will be available in-store and for custom fitting starting November 1st.

10K MOI FORGIVENESS

10K MOI Forgiveness

This 460cc profile designed for maximum forgiveness takes MOI to the absolute extreme with Tour Edge’s highest ever Moment of Inertia rating based on the combined horizontal and vertical MOI of the clubhead that surpasses 10,000 g-cm2. 10K MOI greatly increases stability for less twisting at impact, which leads to tighter dispersion and straighter shots, improving a golfer's accuracy off the tee by leaps and bounds.

Flight Tuning System

This all-new Flight Tuning System features an 18-gram weight at the extreme trailing edge on the sole of the clubhead that is easily able to move to the Draw, Neutral or Fade weight ports that have been designed for the 725 series.

Moving the back weight to the different weight ports allows for a +/- 7-yard heel and toe bias in directional flight. For example, if you were to move the weight to the Fade weight port, your flight would adjust 7 yards to the right for a right-handed player, and vice versa for the Draw setting.

All 725 series weights are swappable from club to club. Nine different individual weights will be available from five grams to 28 grams for Tour Edge’s largest ever fitting matrix.

360° Ridgeback Technology

Tour Edge engineers employed the Ridgeback Titanium brace for the E725 features increased structural properties and 360° perimeter weighting. The 360° Ridgeback wraps around the entire perimeter to frame the entire clubhead. This Ridgeback 360-degree brace acts as a brace for the entire clubhead to produce more power across the entire face, including the extreme perimeters. Adding additional Titanium to the entire perimeter with a thicker ridge at center face allows more support on off-center hits to increase face deflection.

3D Diamond Face

New 3D Diamond Face is made up of new three-dimensional shapes of variable thickness located behind the face, bringing the face to life with full depth and height of the Diamond shapes being utilized. 3D Diamond Face coverage removes additional weight from the face and dramatically increases ball speed on off-center hits while also greatly aiding forgiveness strikes to the extreme heel and toe of the clubhead.

There are 61 total diamond shapes feature on 3D Diamond face, comprising seven different 3D thicknesses in an interweaving pattern. The mini-trampolines that make-up 3D Diamond Face create faster ball speeds and an expanded sweet spot, while the reduction in face thickness on the heel and toe adds forgiveness on mishits and dramatically increases ball speed on off-center hits.

Power Channel

A new Power Channel has been incorporated into the 725 design directly behind the face on the sole of the clubhead. The Power Channel creates better weight distribution and increased face flexing and delivers amplified ball speed and less spin, as well as added forgiveness on shots struck lower on the face.

Finned Internal Ribbing

Upgraded acoustic engineering is achieved through Finned Internal Ribbing strategically placed on the inside of the clubhead. Internally, the finned ribbing bounce sound on the inside of the club to provide top-shelf sound and feel.

SpeedTested Shafts

Every shaft in the Exotics 725 Series has been SpeedTested to find the optimal custom shaft pairing for every flex, determined by robotic testing, and validated by player testing.

FLIGHT-TUNED PERFORMANCE

Super Low and Mid/Back CG

The Center of Gravity on the C725 has been moved lower and mid-back in the 445cc clubhead. The new CG placement that is 8% further back and 5% lower than the C723 Driver still creates a more penetrating, spin resistant ball flight for faster ball speeds, but now with added forgiveness that is easier to get airborne.

Flight Tuning System

This deeper face and smaller footprint are designed for the competitive player and features a two-tier front/back weighting system that allows for industry-leading MOI. and spin rate manipulation.

This all-new Flight Tuning System features a two-tier Front/Back Weight System with a back weight that is easily able to move to the Draw, Neutral or Fade weight ports that have been designed for the 725 Series.

The C725 Driver will come standard with a 5-gram weight in the front and a 15-gram weight in the back that allows for both extreme M.O.I. and flight/spin rate manipulation.

Moving the back weight to the different weight ports allows for a +/- 7-yard heel and toe bias in directional flight. For example, if you were to move the weight to the Fade weight port, your flight would adjust 7 yards right for a right-handed player, and vice versa for the Draw setting.

The Flight Tuning System allows for adjustability at a rate of +/- 300 RPMs of spin rate when the weights are switched from front to back. The M.O.I. range of the clubhead can be adjusted 11% up or down by switching the heavier weight with the lighter weight.

All 725 series weights are swappable from club to club. Nine different individual weights will be available from five grams to 28 grams for Tour Edge’s largest ever fitting matrix.

360° Ridgeback Technology
