Webbs Reserve Golf Club, a brand-new 18-hole Nicklaus-design, has opened to public play in Punta Gorda, Florida. Webbs Reserve Golf Club is the centerpiece of the new Webbs Reserve at Babcock Ranch community, currently under development by Lennar.
The semiprivate club has a limited number of memberships available with the purchase of a home.
Webbs Reserve’s par-72, 7,034-yard layout meanders across the coastal plains and wetlands of the south Florida community. Twentylakes add to the challenge and beauty of Webbs Reserve, coming into play on 18 holes. The Nicklaus Design team, led by Designer Chris Cochran, thoughtfully crafted the course to be playable for golfers of all skill levels. The new course features Bimini fairways, tees and rough, and Tifeagle greens.
“Webbs Reserve is a fantastic layout that truly has something for everyone,” said Andrew McGrath, Head Golf Professional. “The course offers a great mix of challenging holes that test your skills and more forgiving ones that let you relax and enjoy the game. Every hole is thoughtfully designed, with opportunities to play strategically or take some bold shots, depending on your style. The stunning natural scenery of the area adds so much to the experience—it’s not just a round of golf; it’s a chance to immerse yourself in the beauty of south Florida.”
Webbs Reserve at Babcock Ranch provides an exceptional luxury golf experience, featuring a wide selection of single-family homes, Coach Homes, as well as Veranda and Terrace condominiums. Here, the golf lifestyle goes beyond the game, and will offer outstanding service, mouth-watering cuisine, and picturesque surroundings. The 18-hole course will be complemented by amenities such as an aqua driving range, covered and open pickleball courts, tennis courts, a fitness center, a resort-style swimming pool, two-story bar and grill, eight Toptracer bays and much more.
Webbs Reserve Golf Club is managed by ICON Management, a division of Troon. For more information or to make a tee time, visit www.webbsreservegcfl.com or call (941) 347-1000.
