Sacks Parente Golf Opening New Shaft Manufacturing and Design Facility

Sacks Parente Golf Company (SPG), creators of exceptional putting instruments have announced that they are opening a golf shaft manufacturing and design facility into their operations.  This new facility will be opened in St. Joseph, Missouri.

The primary focus of this facility will be to manufacture SPG proprietary carbon fiber golf shafts for their patented Ultra-Low Balance Putter (ULBP) Technology putting instruments.  “Incorporating shaft manufacturing right here in the United States allows us to greatly control our ability to innovate, design, manufacture, and quickly deliver our putting instruments to a growing audience,“ said Tim Triplett, CEO of Sacks Parente Golf.

PUMA x Palm Tree Crew to Host Innaugural PUMA x PTC Invitational in Miami Beach

Tour Edge Sets New Mark with 21 Players in Field (27-Percent) Using Tour Edge Clubs at Hoag Classic

This week at the Hoag Classic in Newport Beach, Calif. on the PGA TOUR Champions, Tour Edge continued their impressive growth by posting a new personal best for most players in a regular sized field event.

Propelled by the launch of their new Exotics 722 Series, 21 different players played 63 Tour Edge clubs in play at the event, equaling 27% of the field.

USGA Announces Qualifying Sites on Path to 2022 U.S. Senior Open at Saucon Valley Country Club

The United States Golf Association (USGA) today announced qualifying sites for the 42nd U.S. Senior Open Championship, to be conducted at Saucon Valley Country Club (Old Course), in Bethlehem, Pa., from June 23-26. Saucon Valley will become the first club to host the U.S. Senior Open three times, having previously been the venue in 1992 and 2000.

Conducted over 18 holes, qualifying will be held at 33 sites across the United States between May 2 and June 1. Online entry applications are available now and will continue through Wednesday, April 27, at 5 p.m. EDT (champ-admin.usga.org).

Mitsubishi Golf Wins Number 535 at The Honda Classic

Mitsubishi picked up its 535th win on all major Tours since 2004 as Sepp Straka won The Honda Classic at the notoriously difficult PGA National Champion Course.

The Champion Course at PGA National was the third most difficult course on Tour during the 2020-21 season, and Straka left no doubt off the tee with a Kai'li 60 White in his driver.  Straka led the field in Strokes Gained: Off the Tee (1.261) and Driving Accuracy Percentage (84-percent).

USGA Announces Entry Process, Field Composition and Format for 1st U.S. Adaptive Open

The United States Golf Association (USGA) has announced additional details regarding the U.S. Adaptive Open – a new national championship that will showcase the world’s best golfers with disabilities – including information on the entry process, field composition and competition format.

The U.S. Adaptive Open will serve as the association’s 15th national championship, joining such iconic longstanding events as the U.S. Open, U.S. Women’s Open, U.S. Amateur and U.S. Women’s Amateur. Champions of this new event will see their names recorded in the annals of golf history alongside many of the game’s storied figures. It will be held July 18-20 at Pinehurst Resort & Country Club’s Course No. 6.

PGA Champion Jason Day Chooses to Join Bridgestone Golf Tour Team

Bridgestone Golf, the #1 Ball-Fitter in Golf, announced today the signing of major champion Jason Day to its Tour team.
