Adidas CODECHAOS Goes Laceless

Adidas is inviting golfers everywhere to find the fairways and lose the laces. Adidas is once again reimagining what a golf shoe can be by introducing CODECHAOS Laceless, the first high performance spikeless golf shoe with laceless construction in the brand’s history. Built on a gender-neutral last and offered in a broad range of men’s and women’s sizing, the new footwear is available now.

New for the fall/winter 2023 range, CODECHAOS Laceless boldly tackles spikeless performance through a clean and functional filmed textile upper. As part of the design, adidas incorporated PRIMEKNIT materials in key zones around the instep and ankle to make it easier to take on and off, while still providing support. This laceless filmed textile upper is specifically designed to provide an adaptable, glove-like, high performance fit with a customized feel. The result is that golfers will still feel top-notch performance and stability even though there aren’t any laces to tie before heading out to practice or play.

Romero Reaches Top of Mountain; Wins U.S. Girls’ Junior Title in Colorado

Like she had done all week, Kiara Romero meticulously looked over her 7-foot par putt on the 36th green of the championship match late Saturday afternoon at the U.S. Air Force Academy Eisenhower Golf Club’s Blue Course. It was a right-to-left putt, the type that had given Romero some fits during the 74th U.S. Girls’ Junior Championship.

But this one had major implications. With a precarious 1-up lead, a holed putt meant Romero, 17, of San Jose, Calif., would net the biggest prize in junior golf.

And like I have each of the last three Open Championships, I've got the official players yardage and green books from the 151st Open Championship at Royal Liverpool.  Yup, the exact same yardage and green books players will be using this week to share with all of you.

Yana Wilson took care of business in the first stage of her U.S. Girls’ Junior title defense. Now she’ll try to become the sixth medalist to hoist the Glenna Collett Vare Trophy since 2002.

Wilson, 16, of Henderson, Nev., carded a 4-under-par 68 on Tuesday at the U.S. Air Force Academy Eisenhower Golf Club’s Blue Course to earn medalist honors. Her 36-hole total of 6-under 138 was one stroke better than 2022 Augusta National Women’s Amateur champion Anna Davis, 17, of Spring Valley, Calif.
