Boulders Resort North Course Re-Opens

The Boulders Resort & Spa Scottsdale, consistently named one of the “Best Golf Resorts in the Southwest,” and heralded as one of the finest 36-hole golf facilities worldwide, recently completed a multi-focused refinement project to further enhance the playability of its iconic North Course. The North Course reopened for play on Monday, October 13.

During the five-month project, crews restored green surfaces to their original shape and size, and resurfaced them with TifEagle turf, mirroring the green surfaces on the Boulders’ South Course (which completed a greens renovation project in 2022).

It will be the sixth USGA championship held at the club and the first since 2018. 

PGA HOPE National Golf and Wellness Week Honors Veterans at Congressional Country Club

Twenty Military Veterans received specialized golf and wellness training October 9 – 13 at the 6th annual PGA HOPE National Golf & Wellness Week, presented by Connoco Phillips and T-Mobile. 



Held at Congressional Country Club near our nation’s capital, these Veterans will now serve as Ambassadors of PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere), the flagship military program of the PGA of America REACH Foundation, and return to their home PGA Sections to work with other Veterans and help foster the game of golf.

Alex Cejka Wins SAS Championship

Tour Edge staff player Alex Cejka captured his fourth career PGA TOUR Champions victory Sunday at the SAS Championship, adding another impressive chapter to his remarkable story. 

His new Exotics LS fairway metal led the way down the stretch, providing a key shot on the 17th hole to help seal a 3-shot victory. The new Exotics Series became available for pre-sale earlier this week and launches at retail on Nov. 4. 

Colorado Golf Club to host 2030 U.S. Junior Amateur Championship

The United States Golf Association (USGA) today announced Colorado Golf Club, in Parker, Colo., as the host site for the 2030 U.S. Junior Amateur Championship. The dates of the championship are July 22-27, 2030.

“The USGA is excited to return to Colorado Golf Club and appreciates the club’s support of amateur golf and their collaboration throughout the years,” said Rob Doone, director of the U.S. Junior Amateur for the USGA. “The club will host an international field of the best junior players; all hoping to manage and execute their games at the highest level as they compete for the title of world’s best and a spot in the U.S. Open.”

PXG to Make First Ever Appearance at 2026 PGA Show

PXG has confirmed that it will exhibit for the first time at the 2026 PGA Show, Jan. 20-23, in Orlando, Florida. The move marks a significant step in the company’s efforts to engage more directly with PGA of America Golf Professionals, buyers, and industry partners.

NGF Short Game: Golf’s Private Side

Golf is predominantly a public game in the U.S., with nearly three-quarters of courses open to all and less than 8% of the golfer population being members at private clubs.

But that 8% packs a serious economic punch, as private club golfers – at least generally speaking — play and spend more on the game, are more likely to take instruction or travel for golf, and have a higher average household income.

2025 Hero World Challenge Fields Six of the Top 10 Players in the World

Following the commitment deadline, the initial player field for the 2025 Hero World Challenge was announced today. Hosted by Tiger Woods, the 2025 edition of the tournament returns to Albany, Bahamas, December 4-7.

This year’s 20-player field features six of the top 10 players in the world (as of the eligibility date), including World No. 1-ranked Scottie Scheffler, the tournament’s two-time defending champion who won two of his four major championships in 2025. Scheffler is one of two past champions in the field, joined by 2016 champion Hideki Matsuyama. 

Kim-Schaad’s Second Act: Wins Mid-Am Thriller in Extra Holes at Monterey Peninsula

Ina Kim-Schaad, 42, of Jupiter, Fla., claimed her second U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur title in dramatic fashion on Thursday, draining an 18-foot birdie putt on the fifth extra hole to defeat Hanley Long, 28, of Clarksville, Tenn., on Monterey Peninsula Country Club’s Dunes Course. 

The victory came in record-setting fashion — not only was the match the longest championship final in U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur history at 23 holes, but it capped a week that saw multiple milestones, including a record number of championship entries and the youngest field in championship history. 

USGA Announces 14 New State Junior Team Programs Under U.S. National Development Program Umbrella

The United States Golf Association (USGA) today announced the launch of the State Junior Team Program in 14 states that will support the pipeline for elite junior golfers ages 13-18 into the U.S. National Development Program (USNDP). 

The 14 states added to the program are Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, South Dakota, Texas and Washington. Teams are created through the USGA’s close collaboration with its Allied Golf Associations (AGAs) and the PGA of America Sections. Rosters for these 14 teams will be released after the conclusion of the 2026 season.

Kim-Schaad Returns to the Final, Long Joins Her After Dominant Semifinal Win

Ina Kim-Schaad, 42, of Jupiter, Fla., the 2019 champion, earned her place back in the final match of the U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur, defeating co-medalist Katherine Zhu, 25, of San Jose, Calif., 3 and 2 on Wednesday afternoon at Monterey Peninsula Country Club. She will face Henley Long, 27, of Clarksville, Tenn., in Thursday's 18-hole final.

“Pinch me,” said Kim-Schaad. “I mean, this was obviously my goal coming in for sure. I've worked ready hard this year to try and get here. But, yeah, it's still pretty unbelievable. I'm super excited and grateful that I get to play this course one more time. I'm excited.” 

Prime Video to Broadcast PGA TOUR The Skins Game on Black Friday

For the first time since 2008, “The Skins Game,” one of golf’s most celebrated television franchises, will officially return on Black Friday with Prime Video set to exclusively broadcast the special event globally, produced by Pro Shop and Propagate Content in coordination with PGA TOUR Studios.



Slated to compete in the relaunched “The Skins Game” are 2025 FedExCup Champion, 2025 Ryder Cup points leader and seven-time DP World Tour champion Tommy Fleetwood, 16-time PGA TOUR winner Justin Thomas, two-time major champion Xander Schauffele and eight-time PGA TOUR winner Keegan Bradley. The foursome —which has combined to win 34 career PGA TOUR events — will compete at the new Panther National in South Florida, the vision of Jack Nicklaus and Thomas in his debut design.

Golf VX Launches National League
