Mitsubishi Golf x Diamana Takes Another Win

Brian Campbell won in his 178th start on the PGA/Korn Ferry Tour using a Diamana GT 60TX in a Ping Driver to win in a playoff with Aldrich Potgeiter.

Brian switched into Diamana GT out of the Ventus Black at the Farmers Insurance Open just 4 weeks ago. He finished the event hitting 81.48% of his fairways (10th in accuracy). This also gets Campbell into a couple of the majors and Players Championship.

USGA Announces Qualifying Sites on Path to 45th U.S. Senior Open at The Broadmoor

The United States Golf Association (USGA) today announced qualifying sites for the 45th U.S. Senior Open Championship, to be held at The Broadmoor’s East Course, in Colorado Springs, Colo., from June 26-29. The Broadmoor is hosting its third Senior Open and ninth USGA championship.

For the first time since its inception in 1980, the U.S. Senior Open will feature a qualifying framework that is comparable to the U.S. Open with two stages that includes local and final sites. The USGA has established 27 exemption categories from local and final qualifying, including 5-year exemptions for the major champions of the Senior PGA Championship, Senior Open Championship, Kaulig Companies Championship and Regions Tradition. Winners of the U.S. Senior Open, from 2014-24, are also exempt.

USGA Recognizes David Jacobsen with the 2025 Joe Dey Award for Outstanding Volunteerism in Golf

The USGA has named David Jacobsen, of Portland, Ore., as the 2025 recipient of the Joe Dey Award, in recognition of his exemplary service to the game and incredible impact in welcoming thousands to the sport through junior golf.

Named after Joe Dey, USGA executive director from 1934-1969, the award honors the game’s most exceptional volunteers. Beyond his service to the Oregon Golf Association (OGA), Jacobsen has volunteered at the national level with the USGA for more than four decades.

The Path to Oakmont Country Club Begins

The United States Golf Association (USGA) today announced that online entry applications are now available for the 125th U.S. Open Championship, to be played from June 12-15 at Oakmont (Pa.) Country Club.

Thousands of golfers are expected to qualify for the championship through a two-stage process, with a final field of 156 players advancing to Oakmont, where a U.S. Open champion will be crowned. Non-exempt players will compete in one of 110 local qualifiers (108 in the United States and one each in Canada and Mexico) between April 16 and May 19.

Gamble Sands Unveils New Scarecrow Logo

Gamble Sands, the Top 100 golf resort located in Brewster, Washington, has unveiled the logo for its new Scarecrow Course, the much-anticipated David McLay Kidd design slated to open to resort-guest and public play on August 1st.

The Scarecrow logo was designed by the Gebbers family (owners of Gamble Sands) and features a tall, slender figure holding a flagstick. The Gebbers family also illustrated the original Gamble Sands rabbit logo, the QuickSands course logo and The Barn restaurant icon.

LA Golf Announces New Face ID Drivers

If you head over to the LA Golf website you'll see LA Golf has given us a first look and chance to preorder their new Face ID drivers.  There are five LA Golf Face ID drivers and each has a unique bulge and roll (face curvature) based on swing speed that's designed to optimize side-spin and straighten off-center hits.

New Graphite Design RAUNE Iron Shafts Now Available

Qualifying Sites for 4th U.S. Adaptive Open Announced

The United States Golf Association (USGA) has announced the eight qualifying sites for the 4th U.S. Adaptive Open Championship, which will be contested at Woodmont Country Club in Rockville, Md., on July 7-9.


Conducted over 18 holes, qualifiers will be held at eight sites across the United States between Apr. 23 and May 28. They will be managed by Allied Golf Associations (AGAs). This year’s championship will be the second year to feature a qualifying method. In its first two years, the championship field was determined largely by Handicap Index®.

USGA Announces Qualifying Sites for 2025 U.S. Women’s Open Presented by Ally

The United States Golf Association (USGA) today announced qualifying sites for the 80th U.S. Women’s Open Championship Presented by Ally, to be held at Erin Hills, in Erin Wis., from May 29-June 1. It is the first U.S. Women’s Open for the resort.

Conducted over 36 holes, qualifying will be held at 23 sites across the United States, plus one each in Canada, Japan and Italy between April 15 and May 13. Online entry applications open today, and will continue through Wednesday, April 2, at 5 p.m. EDT (champs.usga.org).
