Under Armour Signs Amateur Golfer Kieron van Wyk

Under Armour just added another rising star to its golf roster—23 year old golfer Kieron van Wyk.

Van Wyk made history as the first amateur to win an Advocates Professional Golf Association (APGA) Tour event and has solidified himself as one of the top collegiate golfers. As the first golfer to receive P-1 status in the NIL era, he’s continued to dominate, earning the First Team All-CAA honors three years in a row.

Wyk’s 2022 CAA Championship win also made him the first Black golfer in conference history to take medalist honors.

Having built a name for himself in amateur and collegiate golf, van Wyk is ready to take on the next level with Under Armour by his side.

He’ll be competing in 2025 wearing the brand’s performance apparel and footwear, starting with his PGA Tour debut at the Puerto Rico Open this week. The athlete has already tested out the brand’s top performance gear, including the UA Drive Fade Golf Shoes, designed for ultimate style, comfort and precision with its ground-hugging support.
