FootJoy, the #1 Shoe in Golf, has been the #1 shoe on the PGA Tour for 80 consecutive years because of a singular dedication to the game of golf and a relentless commitment to performance innovation, style, comfort and quality.
As part of FootJoy’s continued commitment to innovation, the brand is introducing radical updates to the successfulHyperFlex line of golf shoes. Finely tuned to empower the athletic golfer, the new HyperFlex is a powerhouse of comfort, traction and performance.
So much so that Justin Thomas, who has relied on modern classic footwear for the entirety of his junior, college and professional career, has transitioned to the new HyperFlex.
“I’ve worn a classic, structured shoe for pretty much my entire career – Classics, Icon, Premiere, etc. - but I had to make a switch when I tried this HyperFlex,” said 15-time PGA Tour winner, Justin Thomas.
“This shoe is perfect – super comfortable and flexible in the right areas, but also gives me all the support I need to make a strong, confident move on the ball.”
With insight from some of the top players in the world, including Justin Thomas, Corey Connors, Ben An and more, HyperFlex features new comfort and performance designs for the most elite golfers.
WRAPPED IN COMFORT
FJ’s popular StratoFOAM cushioning delivers comfort and support tuned for golf. The midsole design provides the perfect blend of cushioning which helps absorb shock while maximizing energy return to reduce foot fatigue. The new HyperFlex is powered by FJ’s proprietary TruFIT System, providing easy-on flexibility and wrap around heel support for a locked-in, secure fit.
TRACTION FOR EVERY CONDITION, ANY LIE
The OptiFlex outsole design promotes stability where you need it, with strategically placed angles of traction devised with the golfer in mind. LP Pulsar cleats and additional traction elements are used to target omni-directional swing forces throughout the golf swing.
HYPER POWERED
HyperFlex features a new outsole PowerPlate that transfers energy to the ground to maximize speed, resisting any twisting through the golf swing. A TPU Saddle harnesses any top of foot movement and transfers it back into the ground. For those looking for even more stability and comfort, the HyperFlex Carbon shoe features a molded carbon fiber power plate that delivers Tour-level stability and performance.
“We wanted to ensure that Hyperflex represented the pinnacle expression in athletic golf performance,” said Dan Buonomo, Product Manager, FJ Footwear. “Our focus remains on the discerning golfer and understanding what their needs are from a styling, comfort and golf specific performance perspective, which you’ll see in the new HyperFlex.”
The new HyperFlex will be available beginning March 4, 2025, while the HyperFlex Carbon will be available in April 2025.
