ECCO Golf has announced the launch of BIOM® H4, the latest offering from the award-winning ECCO BIOM line featuring innovative stability and traction technology for advanced performance and motion control through the swing.
Offered in four colorways for both men and women, BIOM H4 boasts a visible T. PU stabilizer that wraps around the foot from the outsole to the midsole for enhanced stability, while adding to the contemporary design with vibrant color pops in certain styles.
“Although BIOM H4 maintains the excellent comfort the BIOM line is known for, it also has many new design features that are a notch above the rest,” says Jesper Thuen, General Manager, ECCO GOLF USA. “The evolution of the BIOM family continues to showcase why ECCO is a leader in golf shoe innovation.”
Available this March and retailing for $200 MSRP, the BIOM H4 premium performance leather uppers are protected with 100% GORE-TEX waterproof technology and sit atop the new ECCO MTN GRIP outsole with three zones of traction for the ideal blend of stability, durability and rotational support.
An updated BIOM® 2.0 last offers a modern look and feel combined with BIOM® NATURAL MOTION® Technology that enables the foot to move naturally, close to the ground, and forms like a second skin around the foot.
Additional features include:
ECCO FLUIDFORM™ Direct Comfort Technology; a ‘state change’ process that uses specialized fluid materials to form around an anatomical last, ensuring a finely tuned balance of cushioning and rebound, while also creating a flexible and durable bond without the compromises common with stitched or glued assemblies.
Reduced seam construction for lightweight flexibility.
X-TENSA INVISIBLE Technology links the sole unit’s T.PU blocks to the lacing system via internal enforcement for 360° stability.
A removable, washable Ortholite® foam inlay sole provides long-term cushioning and superior breathability, plus the option of extra width when removed.
All ECCO GOLF shoes are crafted at company-owned factories that utilize FLUIDFORM™ technology to bond the upper and outsole unit, creating a one-piece shoe without the use of glue or stitching. Benefits include flexibility, durability and a lightweight construction.
ECCO GOLF shoes are worn in competition around the world by Henrik Stenson, Thomas Bjørn, Fred Couples, Erik van Rooyen, Lydia Ko, Minjee Lee and Caroline Masson, among others.
