Growing the game of golf has seemingly always been a challenge, yet it continues to be the sports number one priority. Topgolf Entertainment Group (TEG) has made its mission and worked tirelessly to make the game of golf more accessible and entertaining through meaningful, tech-driven golf experiences.
To further its cause of growing the game, TGE created a first-of-its-kind competition known as the “9-Shot Challenge” global tournament, which kicks off this Saturday, February 6th.
Golfers from all over the world will be able to compete against each other, utilizing Toptracer Range locations worldwide and the World Golf Tour (WGT) online game to vie for the top spot on the global leaderboard. A competition like no other, players will compete on virtual courses in a series of nine approach shots, testing their iron play, with distances ranging from 94 – 186 yards.
The first event of the 9-Shot Challenge kicks off Feb. 6 – 14 on the virtual Pebble Beach Golf Links course, which players can access any time at Toptracer Range locations and on WGT. The top contenders in each tournament will be awarded unique prizes, including Callaway golf clubs, golf balls, WGT memberships and more.
